Decent first half for Arsenal. Iwobi was the best player out there. He provided a great pass to PEA for the goal.

Torreira looked good too. He was getting fouled quite a bit.

Decent half. It’s nice having the ball go back to the keeper and not getting nervous that he is going to completely screw everything up.

Yup and he very nearly made it 2-0 with a very Henry-esque shot just before HT.

I just got back and zipped through 1T on my dvr in fast-fwd mode. From what I could tell we grew into the match after a slow start. Iwobi looked very lively. Mkhi too... he made our goal with a really quick opportunistic counter after he intercepted a failed dummy. Lichsteiner continues to look the consumate pro... very dependable. Sokratis likewise... wish I could say that about all our signings. And this just in... Leno does indeed have better foot skills than Cech! ;)

Looking forward to a trashing in 2T. By us of course!

2-0 Welbeck! Easy header all alone at the 8 yard line.

Edit: Actually he kind of slipped between 2 defenders and received a perfect cross from Mkhi on the left side.

Whoa! Danny is 1 foot away from making it 3-0. He gets his studs on a cutback and it squirts by the post.

Ozil & Guen putting on their shirts to come in. Interesting.

I'd guess Torreira's gonna come off. Not because he's bad, but due to fitness?

3-0! Auba with his 2nd. Individual brilliance. Shot from about 20yards out. Curled around the keeper.

And with that he gets to sit down... replaced by Ozil. And yes Torreira is off for Guendouzi.

Yeah. And too bad we don't get to play the likes of Vorskla every week.

It's men against boys ATM, and not the way we've seen it sometimes in the past 2 years when we look more like the boys.

I've seen so little of Elneny this season that I forgot he's wearing "4" now. Strange to see him in that shirt, given who's worn it in the past.

Iwobi gets a standing-O while he comes off for Smith-Rowe.

4-0! Ozil with a little poachers goal after Sok played a beautiful chip pass to Lichsteiner who looped a cross to Mesut.

LOL, Sokratis doing his very best to pull down his opponents shorts! Liking him more and more and more.

Meanwhile, there goes the clean sheet. 4-1. We just couldn't clear our lines.

Don't like the sloppiness at the end of the game.

FT. 4-2. They scored a 2nd goal right at the death. :( Good thing it wasn't a cup tie.

This match was pretty fun to watch, at least the second half which is all I really got to watch.

The gulf in skill was just too great today for this little Ukrainian side to have any real chance.

Onward. For Arsenal. And for @crazy150. Both are on a 4 game winning streak.

Was sloppy, but that’s what these games are like. Large lead, half empty stadium, weird lineup. Plus their two goals were both low XG. I wouldn’t worry too much, but is nice when teams value clean sheets.

I'd like to know why Sokratis and Holding switched sides late in the game. Sokratis started on the right side, but ended the game on the left, where he has played when paired with Mustafi.

Yeah I was wondering that myself. I assumed that they were just switching fluidly and I didn't notice it. But that would be a little unusual for CB's.

p.s. Reminder that the match is being broadcast on GolTV at 10pm ET tomorrow, and I bet it will be in English, since GolTV has been airing the ArsenalTV content this year.

Anyone else ready to give Holding a chance in our A team? And let Mustafi play Europa? ;)

My guess is that the manager wants to see Holding on both sides to evaluate him.

I know we’ve questioned the lineups to a high degreee and not without reason. But if he’s making these subs and rotations to properly evaluate players then that makes me optimistic.

Another win, 4 on the trot so that feels nice. Really liked the work of iwobi and miki in the first half. Auba showed his class with the finishing and was a whisker from a hat trick. Really tough to work him and lacazette both in the middle.

    Smith Rowe showed some flashes
That Ukrainian team gave us acres of space
    Felt like preseason

I don’t think it will be tough to work those two
They play well with another and they score goals... Aubameyang can play wing with occasional switches... He doesn’t have to score 35 goals for us to be effective up front
