In a meaningless match for Spain but with Euro 2016 qualification implication for the home team, Spain travels to Kiev and takes on the Ukraine today at 1145 hrs PST, 1445 hrs EST. The match will be shown on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. VDB will more than likely give some of the lesser used players a chance to gain some playing time and exposure in todays match.

    Standings.
    -----------PJ PG PE PP PT
    1 España 9 8 0 1 24
    2 Eslovaquia 9 6 1 2 19

well defensively we've been opened up time and time again. De Gea has played well so has kept Ukraine from scoring.

This game should be about 4-3 for the Ukraine

Our defense is horrible + Ukrainians can't shoot to save their lives.
Very disappointed with Nolito y Alcacer.

    we look so disorganized..

Mata is even helping them to score now! He set up a nice chance but DeGea saves it!

Ukraine should be winning this game though...
I'm wondering which players won't make it to the final 23 man squad for Spain. Quite a few number of very good or excellent players who'll probably be starters if they played for another country will probably miss out. Too many quality players especially in the midfield and wing foward possitions to pick from.

De Gea has certainly upped his case for being the starting keeper

oh I know. Just like several other players will start but have no business doing so. I think we have enough talent to win the Euros again but we won't see it due to the stubbornness and "loyalty" of Del Bosque

and if the last 4-5 years are any indication the finals 4 of both CL and Europa League will have 2-4 Spanish teams... not good for La Roja.. not this year at least.

Thanks you UncleSox for providing us with those historic postings above! I love the internet because stupid things that people say always remain out there so when they continue to say stupid things while they are trolling they can get outed once again for saying those stupid things that they somehow forgot they said long ago because well.......... they are stupid! BTW-The Portugal NT Forum must be quiet of late! Guess it's time to close the thread!
