    Spain vs Slovakia
    UEFA EURO Qualifiers Group stage
    SEP/05, 11:45 AM Pacific Time
    Estadio Carlos Tartiere

    Must win obviously.

Costa is playing.. only DB knows why.
    Who should be our #1?
Can Silva and Iniesta play together?

I am predicting a boring goalless game... we can't score and Slovakia will surely park the bus.

I Hope we give Alcacer some serious time. We need to give this guy a chance.

I think Iniesta and Silva can play together. That is the least of the worries.

If anyone is scoring it will be Silva. Even Rooney for England is better than what we have for options up front.

I get why he started with Costa during the world cup.. but now? At best he should be a sub.
We basically have to depend on Pedro and Silva to score.

Silva you son of a gun you! He is messi like..
    Costa looks lost.. poor guy.
Ramos insists on scoring against us or maybe he is just testing Casillas.

Edit: Penalty!! (didn't look like a penalty to me)

    Edit: 2-0 iniesta!

Common.. 2 more goals to widen the goal differential. :)

I believe in all UEFA tournaments first tiebreak is head-to-head.
    Slovakia won first encounter 2-1.

Decent first half. Silva, Iniesta, and Busquets running the show. Not the best half from Ramos. Costa just doesn't fit into this team but he did win the penalty. Thought Cesc was the weakest of the midfielders.

Actually, I liked the direct passes Cesc Gave us... He had a couple of nice ones. It's a nice alternative to have IMO.
Costa is sadly useless. I really hope we try someone else in the 2nd half.

*some* people still pissed at pique. Getting booed and whistled every time he touches the ball.

Well. We got the result we wanted.

I thought Paco looked pretty good... I Just wish he got more time.
    Costa should never start.

Our problem remains the same. we need a good #9 and or a #7

Are we going to play in Ukraine? Is it safe to play there or are they playing their games in a different country?
