honestly that side of the bracket is so shit that Portugal with Ronaldo needed to at least make the semi final for the good of the tournament....as much as our Italian brethren in the greater Toronto and Montreal area don't like to see it lol. anything less than a Portugal - Belgium semi final would be aweful for the final. it would also mean whoever comes out of that side the bracket for the final match hasn't progressed from facing decent opposition ( pot 1 or 2 ) at least once in the KOs. In a way it makes this euro more credible....this new format and adding 8 more weak teams already almost messed it up and that still remains to be seen as Belgium hasn't played Wales with the almighty Gareth Bale yet! I'm sorry but any squad of Poland , Wales , Hungary , Northern Ireland from that weak ass bracket in the final would be a joke really.
