I can;t help but think Casillas would have stopped both goals.

Spain will be playing against Italy if the score holds.

too complacent from a lot of the team and one of the worst performances I've seen Ramos have. Deserved loss

If the game ends as it stands Spain-Italy Monday 1800 hrs CET. The winner of that match would play the winner of the Group F winner and Group E runner up on 30 June at 1500 hrs CET in the QF's.

I was going to write before the goal that both teams were happy with the draw, but I guess I was wrong.

Such a waste, we could have avoided all the big teams untill the final and what do we do. Get ourselves in the bracket where there's Germany, Italy and France. So unnecessary.

    So from now on:

Italy in the 2nd round; if we go through
Germany in the quarters, if we go through
France in the semis, and then whoever gets through the other side..

    So ********ing unnecessary

to be honest, if we aren't going to win it then just lose the next round and stop wasting everyone's time

You remind me of when I was in a volleyball league and our team sucked so bad that when we limped into the playoffs I told them if you guys don't think you can win let me know so we can lose two quick matches and go home so I don't waste anymore time, and that is what we did!

I'm just afraid that we'll end up beating Italy, probably by PK's, lose to Germany in a valiant 2-1 effort in extra time, and then they talk Del Bosque into staying as the manager (which has been rumored).

Where did you read about those rumors?
I would rather have Luis Aragones from his grave be the NT coach than for VDB to get an extension!

Yeah, the federation wants him to stay. He's been somewhat adament that this is his last tournament though. So keep your "fingers crossed" like Pique during the Spanish national anthem........
