Picante discussion on foreign playrs in liga mx is brought up everytime Mex gets thr ass kicked foreign players keep liga mx entertaining and bring some quality. U look at Mex strikers or attackers they need to take one or two touches before shooting that says a lot.
I find Futbol Picante one of the trashiest shows in ESPN, but every once in a while you have stuff like Hugo Sánchez calling Lavolpe a "vividor" (happened just right now) and it is amazing.

Not really, it was mostly B team players in the starting line up compared to the gold cup. Some players went back to Europe. Hugo convinced Marquez to stay. I also find it ironic that you exclude them because of the higher ups yet you ignored Hugo's olympic qualifiers. That olympic team was under Rene Isidoro Garcia who quit the team weeks before the qualifers and the higher ups forced Hugo to do it.
not a fan of Hugo but his tenure was unjustly ended. That Olympic debacle was not his fault, he shouldn't have been in charge of that team, and his job shouldn't have depended on those results. His job was with the senior team.
