Mods closed the previous one for some reason... He's been firing in all cylinders despite being scoreless during the previous 20 matches or so for Houston. Cabrera's arrival has been great for him. He's gave him a vote of confidence and he's talking on the pitch. 2 goals in 2 matches. He scored in the season opener against the defending champions Seattle, and he scored a golazo today against Columbus. Hope he keeps it up. He's relatively young. He can still be a late bloomer and subsequently move abroad... I'm genuinely surprised Wilmer Cabrera has gotten off to such a good start with the Dynamo. Glad to see Cubo scoring again, I knew that Barrett (the previous coach) didn't rate Cubo, and wasn't surprised to see him get sent to Cruz Azul. So glad he had a shitty season and got fired.

The goals by Cubo, Almiron and the golazo de media distancia are the only ones that are worthy of a vote. My bet is they'll give it to Almiron, because it's coming from an expansion team DP. Cubo has my vote though, that reception of the ball was class and so was his accuracy in the shot.

He just scored the equalizer. He's being on fire under Cabrera. The Colombian managers has given him the confidence he needed to make the difference. He made him the designated taker for the Dynamo and he's responding to the faith Cabrera has in him. He scored off a FK, and now with a well taken PK. .@HoustonDynamo with a PK of their own......and @erickestefano15 does the honors. #PORvHOU https://t.co/sjXjvKT1Eb— Major League Soccer (@MLS) March 19, 2017
Had no idea he's gonna be a dad. Good for him... Seems that has giving him the motivation to succeed in his second spell with the Dynamo...Cubo's got a brand new baby. #PORvHOU pic.twitter.com/QIkYGlZ02n— Houston Dynamo FC (@HoustonDynamo) March 19, 2017
2 - @HoustonDynamo's Erick Cubo Torres has scored in back-to-back matches after being held scoreless in his previous 25 matches. Explosion— OptaJack⚽️ (@OptaJack) March 19, 2017
Looks like he might, might be resurrecting. I'm not ready to put him in the NT, but if he keeps being consistent and playing to his potential, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets considered.
This is Cubo Torres at his best; scoring goals, creating chances, influencing the game. #MLS: pic.twitter.com/4R5LIORFer— Kris Heneage (@KHeneage) March 19, 2017
He resurrected in Chivas USA, he just went through a slump in his half season in 2015 and through all of 2016. Glad to see he's on fire again. [emoji108]
