    Where: Emirates Stadium
When: Saturday, November 3 at 1:30pm EST
    TV: NBCSN

Well, project 24 ended with 22 points. Not too bad. Our first major test since the first two games is upon us.

Honestly, I’m not too confident about this one. Defensively, we are pretty weak. Our strength is our attack, but Liverpool have only conceded 4 goals this campaign so that neutralizes our attack. A point would be a good result I think considering everything.

I’m hopeful that Emery can come up with some tactical magic though.

I'd be very happy with a point on Saturday. I'm thinking Ozil is going to be under some major pressure to put in a good to very good performance in this one. He may get marked out of the game but I think Emory wants to see creativity and fight regardless. An early goal would really help us Saturday. Not our thing I know but if we go down early things could get ugly. I don't hate on Pool like I do Manure or Chelski but still...... COYFGs!!!!!

Agreed. 1 point is all we can realistically hope for. It isn't too many years ago that we used to regularly bag 3pts off them. Sadly our trajectories have crossed in the last 3 years or so.

I hope not also, but I feel Liverpool may put a severe beatdown on us

We need our big players to play like big players. It'll be interesting to see who hides and who rises in the big games.

I like the test, and I can see this being a shoot out. 2-2..maybe 3-2 us.

Yup, Big NBC (NBC over the air for those who can't tell the difference) it is, and I agree, this WILL be the biggest test of the season so far, this will be THE measuring stick of how far Unai's Red Army has come since last season, I expect a pretty good, if not defensively tight match, if we can nick an early goal I believe we can shut down Mo Salah and Sadio Mane the rest of the way, provided we don't get into the referee's book, and maybe get through this one, but that goal HAS TO be EARLY!!!

I still think the next time we play City will really tell us where we are at but I want a win because I am sick of having to hear my Scouse mates bang on about how we have basically been their bitches for a few seasons now.

.....and he'll do it again, I know that since Arlo White has shown a tendency of digging into into the history books on certain rivalries that maybe he'll mention (for those who don't already know) the 2016 Europa League Final when Unai Emery was managaing Sevilla vs, Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool, COYF'n'G!!!

I think clinical finishing will be the key for us today. Must capitalize on any legitimate chances we get. If we can't do that we may be dead in the water. Laca is going to have to be deadly in front of goal. Ozil needs to be heavily involved from the very first second of the game (unless he has the flu again......or something). Hoping Mustafi keeps his studs to himself! An early goal for us would really be nice. Keep Ramsey off the pitch.

I like our line up! Although I wonder whether Salah will get a lot of love down his side against Kola and Holding.

Well certainly Kola and Rob Holding will make sure that Mo Salah doesn't make them his bitches, as for our starting XI, up until now we only wished that Unai Emery would actually start Laca, Auba, Mhki, AND Mesut Ozil up front, we are indeed coming at Allison with a TON of firepower and a creative wizard (Ozil, no pun intended!) who will not only dish it out but also has the ability to take it himself if necessary. Like i said if we can nick an early goal I think we can do this, because Alisson is an absolute beast in goal, one who can make saves AND is very good with his feet, which in the "back-pass rule"-era (1992-date), has become a very important attribute for a goalkeeper to have. And I also think that if we can prevent Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane from being able to penetrate the backline, then we can steal this one and move into third!!!

BTW, Scums play later on on CNBC so we will no doubt be scoreboard-watching this afternoon, but first things first, we need to do OUR job so we don't have to look over our shoulder at what Scums and Wolves do later on.

Two promising forays in the first 2 mins. Getting in behind them on our left side.

Then 30 secs later we get our first good shot on goal. Great positive, offensive start to this game!

    COYG!!!!

Uh-oh now Mustafi looks to have pulled up a little lame. And Sokratis didn't even make the bench for some reason. :(

However, on the other end Auba is still getting in around or behind their back line and getting shots on/near goal. :)

He looks REALLY up for this match... Aubameyang. Maybe he wants to show Klopp a thing or two?

Whoa! Dodged a bullet there. Tricky call on Mane offsides. We could easily be down one goal. We NEED to score first!

Lineman got it wrong. We need to convert first.
