Southgate better not call him up again but that's why I loved Rooney. He won't go there and just cash his checks, he actually seems to enjoy being a competitor.

According to Google Translate, that's a season-long loan.

The Dutch Eerste Divisie starts today. A few lads in that division now. Ryan Segear scored 14 goals in 7 pre-season games, which seems good.

Patrick Roberts comes of the bench to make his La Liga debut. Ony getting 10 mins but considering he's only been there a few days that is nice to see.

The Willem II club Youtube channel will upload highlights early next week. Same with all the Dutch sides. Found them useful last year.

FC Groningen – Willem II 0-1

    FC Groningen: Padt 6; Zeefuik 5,5, Te Wierik 6, Memisevic 6, Warmerdam 6,5; Hrustic 7, Drost 5 (46. Antuna 6), Van de Looi 6 (72. Freriks -), Doan 7; Van Weert 5,5, Mahi 6,5 (46. Mendes Moreira 5,5).
    Willem II: Wellenreuther 6,5; Dankerlui 6, Lewis 6,5, Heerkens 6, Palacios 6; Akkaynak 6,5 (79. Saddiki -), Crowley 7, Llonch 6,5: Croux 5 (46. Özbiliz 6,5), Sol 6, McGarry 6 (64. Avdijaj 6).
    Scheidsrechter: Manschot 7.

Man of the match: With a beautiful goal, the Englishman Dan Crowley, Willem II, gave them the first victory of the season. In any case, Crowley started the season well and he is one of the pillars of the new Willem II, the club where he did not play last season.

Anybody any ides how highly Monaco rate
Panzo, has he just swapped one reserve team for another? And is Ampadu cup tied? He's a much greater talent than Woodburn imo, the Welsh have really tuck the mick with the granny rule, I like to see all the teams in the British Isles do well and the better players England produces the better for everyone in the region. But Wales having been getting a lot of positive press due to being pariahs, it's a strange narrative that's being sold.
