Now..now!! Dont like those faces!! We would never do anything devious like not play our best and have Chile win and end Tite's honeymoon with our wonderful fans!!:D

Claudio Bravo wouldn't blade himself after being 'hit' by a flare from the crowd!! :p

Now would Romero do the same?? I'm just hoping the cameras are very sharp in Quito on Tuesday!!:whistling::sneaky:

The futbol fan in me don’t want see Argentina go out but it would be pretty funny if both Messi and Ronaldo missed it.

Watch all of Conmebol sweat bullets except us has been very entertaining.

I am for the big stars and big teams to be in the WC. You know if Paraguay for example makes it, they will just bunker like they usually do.

I rather see a Cinderella go on a run rather than a star showing poor body language on a massively underachieving team.

I don't mind a Cinderella team as long as it's not like Greece Euros 2004. Cameroon 90 was wildly fun to watch.

The pitch in Ecuador is soaked and it will rain more before/during the game. Argentina looks screwed.

I was thinking we beat Chile.
    Argentina beats Ecuador.
    Peru and Colombia tie.
    Paraguay wins.

That'd put Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay (5th) through.

I'm ready to see Argentina not make it just to see the carnage afterwards. They were already setting up security barriers outside the AFA headquarters in Buenas Aries this morning.

The World Cup doesn't need Messi or Cristiano (besides the advertising aspect) to be entertaining with the state of their NTs. Both their teams are painful to watch and would eventually crash out.

But Portugal has made it into the World Cup.

Portugal actually looks like a fairly well balanced team. Argentina has been garbage, but I wouldn't count out a team struggling to make it out SA and doing well in the WC. Argentina almost didn't make it to 86. We struggled for 2002. Uruguay finished 5th for 2010.

I guess since BeIn isn't showing the Brazil match on TV, I am forced to have the Argie game at least on while I watch the Brazil match online.

If this was 4 years ago, I'd give Argentina the benefit of the doubt for the WC. The squad now is just old and average barring Messi, Icardi, and Dybala who has been deemed as not able to play with Messi. Squad selection from Sampaoli makes Tite look like a genius.

And Sampaoli proving me correct about his idiotic XIs. Why in the world would Benedetto start over Icardi and Dybala tonight???

Portugal looked decent today but headless against Andora until CR7 came on to score. It really depends on the day( and draw:p) with them,

What I've learned over the years is that a lot can change in less than 1 year. But yeah, Argentina needs a lot of tweaking to be competitive.
