I didn't think I got this channel, so I hid it from my on-screen guide. I was just going through my guide menu (new box, had to hide channels) and apparently I do. Sooo...bring me up to speed. Is this channel worth watching or did it lose everything? What does it have? Live? Same-day delay? I need the 411, as they used to say.
It has the indoor soccer league with Landon Donovan and Jermaine Jones. I think that’s it soccer-wise. It has Spanish league basketball if that’s your thing.
Oof. They've certainly fallen. I was reading about them and I know they had a lot of Asian stuff and it seemed their predecessor may have been halfway decent.
They show the most obscure things. For example, they show something called "Simulated Football League" which is literally a simulation of a football video game using real announcers. I can't think of anyone who ever said, "I really like playing Madden, but what I really want is to watch the computer play against itself while I have no involvement whatsoever and a second rate announcer calls the action." I think they still show the KHL, but I don't really know. In terms of soccer, if you're interested in seeing a Belgian League game which may or may not be shown live, they show that sometimes, but without consistency.
They haven’t shown the Belgian league for a long while now. B/R has had the rights to the Belgian league this season and last season. Soccer-wise they just show the US indoor league.
Their predecessor, One World Sports, had the Asian Champions League. In addition to the aforementioned Spanish (Liga ACB) Basketball, this weekend Eleven Sports has Weber State vs. California-Davis in Big Sky Conference Football; a show about the military Football teams, namely Army, Navy, and Air Force; a Penn State Football pregame that ends 4 and a half hours before the game starts; WKA Karting, Curling; Drone Racing; and Rugby. Weber State (pronounced wee-ber) is in Ogden, which is a suburb north of Salt Lake City. Davis is a suburb west of Sacramento.
Those Asian Champions League matches went to DAZN for a season right after they launched. But then disappeared from the US market completely... SA
So it's not even esports. Lulz. And yeah, it sounded like One World Sports had good stuff from time to time. This new thing seems to be the most ultra-niche stuff...or even beyond ultra-niche.
Eleven Sports League 1 is showing up as a broadcaster for Jupiler League yet I can’t seem to track down how to get it. Also, Proximus Sports but I tried signing up and it would not authenticate my US number even though it offered the country code and everything. I just want to watch some of the games. Anyone else have more on this?
Belgian League has been off Eleven Sports for a few years. It was on Bleacher Report Live for a bit, but not this year. Eleven Sports was showing some Austrian League games this year, and had started showing some Ukrainian League games as well, but both leagues are on their winter breaks at the moment if Im not mistaken. The transmission quality they show of the Ukrainian League is awful. Most of their stuff seems to be from an internet stream on shit wi-fi. Constantly buffers and pixelates.
It seems like some weekends they will show an Austrian game, or a Ukrainian under 21 game, but then nothing for a few weeks. Great use of HD bandwidth though.
Also they are called Next Level Sports now evidently? Wtf? This broadcast from Georgia is unwatchable. It's a genuine internet stream being broadcast on tv, it buffers and stutters every three seconds. Yikes.
Garbage. Remember this when people rip on BeIn Sports. And the worst part is that the televised game is withheld from the live YouTube league stream. So, you have to settle for inferior tv coverage.
In a few minutes, they're showing Dynamo Kyiv's match from Sunday. Immediately after, they've got another one from Ukraine. Then, hours and hours of that "Eleven Sports Network Programming" they're known for.
Monster Belarusian Premier League game listed on livesoccertv.com for Eleven Sports USA tomorrow morning at 930am Isloch vs Slavia
In case you missed it, DAZN has bought Eleven Sports. https://www.sportspromedia.com/news/dazn-eleven-sports-acquisition-streaming/
