Is his stamina a issue? Never really noticed him having bad stamina or a slow player. He just looks big boned... like Bacca and Muriel who also have fat faces.

He walked more often than bacca and muriel....Piojo Herrera rejected from america because that reason in explicit words.

Guillermo is very stricted with stamina....one of the reason wilmar and sebas debuted later was because according to a gps that was introduced in practices they werent running as much as the others

When I watched the colombia-Peru game for the copa América last summer in person, cardona's pace, or lack thereof, on the left wing really stood out to me - but his awareness around the goal in general makes up for that lack of pace. He is involved in so many goals and opportunities so there is that balance

Off the top of my head, I don't know if it's Cardona or Muriel, but one of them has yet to play a full 90 under pekerman - that makes me question stamina.

Boca used a 433 where creation wasn't any sole player's responsibility. Pablo Perez and Gago were the best at dictating play, but they did that from deep.

I expect Cardona is going to play exactly where we saw him in the recent friendly: on the left in place of Centurion. However, as we've seen in Monterrey, Edwin is great at guiding the attack from outside--just not the only one who does.

I didn't realize how similar Boca and Monterrey play until now.

He's the kind of guy who pretty much only score golazos.

Banfield's goalie is Arboleda right? Gotta keep an eye on that kid especially with our lack of talent in said position.

I'm going to buy the NT shirt but I was wondering whose name should be printed in the back. It's going to be Cardona. He might be slow, lazy and fat but he is the best.

My dick just moved ..... seriously this dude needs to do these in yellow. He is a much more consistent Fredy Guarin.

As for the other teams goalie :) If he is Colombian even tho that is god awful positioning then hail Jesus Allah and BUdda. I think that Banfield GK is U21. So he has time to get better and work on stuff like that.

if Cardona can pull off similar magic in a Copa Libertadores setting, that will raise his stock considerably...

curious to know how his passing performance was througout the game. i was at a mexican restuarant last night but they were showing a River game instead (Copa L)

He had some very good passes, should've scored on a couple of occasions. He had one long pass from his own half to the right winger that was absolutely beautiful but Pavon fluffed it.

Yup he said it like 3-4 years ago make every thread "X Player" news and comments.

Tho think we should have a Argie, Mexican and Portuguese league thread as way too many players in those leagues to have heir own threads

I mean bigger players like Cardona obviously get their own threads. But when's the last time someone wrote in the Otero or Medina threads
