Another pair of assists and another MOTM performance for Duvan today. He's in the best form of his career.

I don't mind him not scoring if Falcao stays healthy. He could become the perfect partner for him as we have already concluded. But Falcao MUST stay healthy for Russia!

Mina-Davinson at the back, Duvan-Falcao in the front and Sanchez-Aguilar in the middle makes us UNSTOPPABLE!

Duvan is ranked 5th overall for the season in Italy for xG + xA, or expected goals per game and expected assists, based on his chances created and shots. That's very impressive considering the players and teams he is surrounded by. He has put together a very good season so far, and looked great playing with Falcao. Could be a big player for us in the World Cup and a nice surprise. He needs to be getting consistent minutes going forward.

The guys he's behind are some of the best in the world right now on very offensive teams, really impressive stats and you aren't likely to see many fluke's in that statistic model over a sample of 700 minutes.

Another goal, this one against Juve. He completely outmuscled the defender for a header.

    MOTM on whoscored...

He has to go to Russia if he keeps playing like this...

Heck, he will be the main one to start with Falcao if he keeps this up.

MOTM on FotMOB as well. In my mind based on everything he should be pencilled in as the partner for Falcao right now, it should be his to lose but if he keeps playing like he is and after how they looked together it should undoubtedly be him. Bacca has been doing well, but he's too much of a poacher to play effectively with Falcao imo, Duvan's profile works a lot better, his physicality, pace and runs will pull a ton of defenders to create space for James and Falcao. This guy is going to be a hot commodity in the summer.

    I don’t know I really want to see Borja-Falcao.

I know it was just China but Borja did a lot of defending and fought for possession a lot.

Maybe depends on the team. Glad we have solid options up top again :)

Having options is a good thing, Borja at this point needs to put together a longer stretch of playing and doing well, Duvan is at his peak and has done very well in a league known for tough defenses, hell he owned Chielinni today something not many forwards can claim. Either way it is good to have forwards with different profiles, having Duvan gives us a great physical option but injuries and tactics can lead to changes so the more they merry. For me based on talent and results with club I'd think Falcao, Duvan, Bacca, Borja would be our main options but we'll see what happens leading up to the summer. Muriel is the one guy who can play central or wide so imo should be a lock, and the other 3 are our main central options.

I thought he was over priced for what Napoli wanted for him but def having a crazy good season right now. With his size I can see some EPL team breaking the bank on him
