Wait you are kidding about Yang Zhi being man of the match, because he had one chance at the goal, Iraq had one shot and he let it in, heck we would of had the same result if we left a rock in the middle of goal. The fact of the matter is even's Iraq number 3 played better then the whole of the Chinese team and he got sent off.

Flop: the whole team except maybe Wu who in 10 mins showed more attack and flair then almost every member of the teams international careers.

Advancing: Sadly the only thing I agree with you on this post, man I'm already writing off China faster then in their last World Cup campaign and I think we can all agree that was probably one of the worst Chinese team ever.

I wouldn't put the blame on Wei Di. The core our problem is that our footballing population is too small. How many registered amateur players of all ages do we have, compared to Japan or Korea? Heck I can't even find a decent public football field in Shenzhen, a tier-1 city. Like I said before, I don't expect China to do anything spectacular at the world stage for many many years until we change this underlying structural problem.

yenster if you look at the game at a whole
    especially the first half

yang zhi made many saves to prevent the game going to 2-0 or even 3-0.
the iraq team ruined our offside defensive line twice and we are lucky to have yang zhi to react fast to pounce it out or catch it.

if this is zhang lie, today's game would have been 2-0 or up.

china just has to win all it's games
and iraq has to lose to jordan again and we're good.
assuming we win the nextt game against them

I blame everybody except Yang Zhi, Feng Renliang and Gao Lin. Wu Pingfeng aswell when he was subbed in, those were the only players that showed passion and really tried to make something happen.

The rest of the players showed no signs of wanting to win at all, especially in the second half when they knew they were only down by 1, still most of the time they were just walking around and looked uninterested. Even when the Iraqi player were sent off, which made me just...... speechless

Absolutely atrocious crossing, ive said it time and time again, how hard can it be to send in a decent cross? These guys train everyday and play every week, they are professionals, i just can´t accept that they can´t make one single good cross....

Camacho has all the right to be pissed, i wouldn´t be surprised if he chooses to resign if we fail to advance.

even when hu jintao start commenting that he is concerned over chinese football, chinese football is still the same shit.

btw, nan yong, the dude who corrupted chinese football, is still alive and kicking with no sentences yet.

you should use your chinese skill, get a weibo account, and troll yu hai's weibo :D

anyway serious talk, i realize that's a bigass problem for china, the players are in pressure 24/7. the iraqi played with lesser pressure, even when one of their dudes was red carded.

Du Wei wore #17, and yes he was at fault for the goal, u can see that he misread the ball completely and it bounced off his legs to Younis Mahmoud. Li Weifeng was not at fault for the goal this time, even tho he didn´t have a good game

Camacho is not going to lose any sleep over the loss. His contract is water-tight. After the last match against Jordan he will be the only national coach in the world to earn a salary for doing nothing. And that will continue until 2015. He is the only European who doesn't have to worry about a Eurozone collapse.

Yu Hai only had one cross when he came in, i was more referring to all the other crosses we had all game, not a single one was in the area, like 95% of all crosses was too far. Same with the game against Jordan, all crosses go too far.....

Yu Hai had one cross and connected with one crossing pass. He is not the kind of player who can score on only one chance. He was not used properly in this match.

While I totally agree with you that Yang Zhi is a far better goalkeeper then Zhang Lie, the fact that you praised any Chinese player in this game is what shocked me about your comments. While I'll admit Yang Zhi may not of had the shocker I made out to be he, however did not exceed himself either.

Speaking of talents, why didn't Deng Zhuoxiang play?

He's Gao Hongbo's protege. I hope that didn't give him a perceived attitude problem by Camacho. Of course, we all know who has the best attitude, Milu's protege, Leak Weifeng.

Hu might have chinese football on his to-do list, but that's wayyyy down on the list. We're still a country with tens of millions of people living in poverty. No doubt he wants to fix that before he putting manpower and money on chinese football.

Basically yes, if we win our remaining matches we will probably go through, depending on other results 2 wins and a draw could work aswell. But most importantly the away game against Iraq is a must win and i don´t think it´s an impossible task
