Qu'en pensez-vous? Personally I think the 3mil could've been better spent elsewhere. But hey, they'll sell some shirts
The problem is the more success the old timers have, the more teams are willing to sign them. Who is the last 35 year old+ to bust?
It's a little early to judge that considering we've had 4 old timers join the league this year, Lamps yet to play a game, Pirlo starting today. 30-35 year olds work well though so far. After a mediocre season last year, what are we to expect? One of our strong points is our speed and Drogba isn't exactly the fastest anymore. As always with these guys, they bring experience, a winning attitude.. but what about on the pitch? We could use more depth in defense. Ciman is great, but he's the only one that's producing. Why not beef up our back line and give Jack and Dominic a little more time to settle in and develop?
Well its official, he's been signed http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...drogba-after-completing-sign-and-trade-chicag Can't find anything about fees or wages but looks like we paid a good amount to the Fire for this. Hopefully he pays off... I remember di vaios great hold up play in the middle of the park, hopefully didier can bring us some of that. We can't really count on his pace but he can create and has a rocket for a shot Looking forward to seeing him play that's for sure.
Hopefully. He should be landing in Montreal tomorrow afternoon. People are saying that his earliest game could be against the Union on the 22nd. Hopefully he trains this week and plays against NYCFC. Hell maybe even Lampard plays Pirlo Villa Mix Lampard Drogba Piatti
Didier arriving this afternoon at YUL, shitload of people waiting for him Press conference scheduled for tomorrow at 6 pm available for members on impactmontreal.com / RDS / TVASports
I'm not sure DD is as dominating as Seba, he sure is clutch though What if we don't make the playoffs?
9 goals in nine games is pretty dominant. If anything he's close. Can you imagine if he could keep up this type of scoring pace for an entire 34 game season? Assuming his fitness holds he could challenge the single-season goal scoring record.
I can't imagine him keeping this up a whole season, Seba though is on another planet, he could still start anywhere in Italy, on the NT if he's called. I'm thankful for this contribution for sure

so will he stay or will he go... http://www.cbc.ca/sports/soccer/didier-drogba-denies-leaving-montreal-1.3392686
Hahahahaha TOO FUNNY! I thought he wanted to speak French? I thought Montreal was the special one? What a joke! Remember coming to the Fire threads to gloat?
apparently he's decided to stay: http://sbisoccer.com/2016/01/report-didier-drogba-will-suit-up-for-montreal-impact-in-2016
Of course he is, I intentionality waited what I thought was sufficient time to trash talk. Should have known the minute I opened my mouth the tides would change. He'll probably win the Golden Boot in 2016 scoring 20+ goals.
