Hello. I am headed to Euro 2016 and seeing a couple games at Stade de France in Saint Denis. I understand there are no alcohol sales inside the stadium and not many bars outside the stadium. Does anyone know the laws on bringing some beers to drink outside the stadium? Could always hit a bar then metro up, but I thought it would be fun to enjoy the atmosphere outside the venue beforehand. Thanks.
I do not believe France has laws against drinking in public. Though because it is France, may I suggest bringing a bottle of wine
I'm pretty sure that UEFA forbids alcohol sales during the games it sanctions, so no matter where they take place we will be only able to buy nonalcoholic beer. Hope I'm wrong, though, but more than likely not.
