Good shot, just a bit unlucky I think.

yeah and the Brit announcers had spasms of delight over it. 'Good old-fashioned tackle'. Thug passion I guess.

    Fair though.

Btw - beautiful pass from Osman on that chance from Yakubu. Osman is such an unassuming player. But he's so effective.

Donovan can play in next week's game too.

And Arteta makes up for his first two misses by latching on to a great cross from #22, making it 1-0 Everton.

And after I say that, Arteta scores. Great ball by Yakubu.

Arteta! Gorgeous cross from Yakubu, Arteta is allllllllll alone, and just knocks is past the keeper 1st time.

Nah he is available for Everton next weekend at Birmingham as well. After March 15 it's back to Gal-Gal land.

Bad giveaway by Hull. Everton fails to capitalize

I think LDs last game is supposed to be next week at Birmingham....unless he gets extended due to MLS work stoppage

Good for both. The pressure at int level should make Donovan
and jozy better. Wish usmnt could apply same performance
    metric.

Both will come off the bench better for it.

Hopefully, that goal is what Arteta needed to find his real form. He's been playing at about 50% of his abilities the last month.

From the team news article leading up to this match, injured, citing a hamstring injury.

Great cool touch by Arteta for that goal that put Everton ahead.

They have a chance in Hull without Altidore in this game.

Apparently! simply gorgeous ball fro Arteta to find Neville down the wing, who of course knocks it off a defender.

This is an ideal scoreline for a Jozy and Donovan entrance at about halftime.
