Italy's next big things. Where the ******** are they? Berardi is 23, not ********ing 13. How old do you have to be to play in the national team? 30? Verratti is 25 also. I've heard people wank off to these guys years ago, but no end product. Berardi is younger but these next 5-7 years is their opportunity. Berardi isn't even featuring and hasn't made is full debut yet. We have the world cup next year, another one 4 years later and a euro after that. That's it for these guys. These great white hopes are more like great white hypes. They're ******** all.

At youth level we get knocked out too unlike before when we won a lot. We don't win the big games anymore and all this talent thus far has amounted to sweet ******** all.

Play Berardi now or have the ******** if he's on the bench if he's really that good. Also Gio needs to come back. He's warranted a call up.

I've expressed my opinion in the past about Berardi being overrated, he has moments of brilliance but most of the time he's just meh. Verratti does a decent job when he has a midfield.

Great is an exaggeration of his creative ability. You just have to watch him when he is under pressure from a quality opponent as opposed to these overmatched opponents that PSG frequently plays. Here is a weak opponent what does he do that is great?

Fair point about PSG overmatching their opponents. Ligue1 is pretty weak.

But what was that video supposed to prove?

That Totti fan doesn't like possession and passing, but rather long balls. He also has no idea what build up play is or how to open up a competitor that is bunkering with passing, etc. Just kick and run. In other words, as an Aussie, he's a victim of English long ball mentality that is pervasive in the Australian school of soccah.

I know you can be loyal to a fault, but realistically there would have been dozens of players who outperformed MV in this latest round of European fixtures.
