Not a lot to go on beyond this tweet:

Can't find much about him and only a limited amount on the club who goes by the full name:
    CF Torre Levante Orriols
which has been in the Spanish Tercera Division (4th level) in the recent past.

A few social media accounts seem to point to a guy named David who graduated from a North Carolina high school in 2015.

CARY, N.C. (July 27, 2017) – North Carolina FC has signed former Capital Area RailHawks Academy member D.J. Taylor to a professional contract for the remainder of the 2017 NASL season, pending the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC). Per club policy, further details on the deal were not released.

    ...

Following his academy career, Taylor signed an amateur contract with NCFC in May of 2015. Taylor did not appear in a match, but trained with the first team before moving to Spain, where he played with FC Torre Levante of the Tercera Division the last two seasons.

    He's a '97.

He’s a very sound defender with good technical skills. I’ve thought for a couple years he could be MLS level, but historically the USL to MLS jump is rare and difficult. I’d miss seeing him turn out for NCFC but if the club is serious about development they need their homegrowns moving up the ladder.
