I wonder how it went... anyhow, the reason I’m reviving this thread is because I found this interesting tweet about player unhappiness with VAR in Germany. Seems to have gotten worse this season with the new handball law, and the interpretation of offside (actually, I don’t think offside changed in 2019, so maybe that’s a hangover from 2018 law changes). VAR is in its third season in the Bundesliga, and you can see why 63.2% of players polled in Germany are unhappy.
