Imagine dismantling an 87 point team in favor of a coach, and then firing that coach 3 games into his second season.

It's obviously newspaper garbage, but that would bring some prime Mongo memes.

We looked just as poor at the start last season. We got it together, though it was too late for the league.

Monchi didn't cater to EDF's tactics in the market only to give him the hook after three league games.

I’m against firing EDF this early. However, if he doesn’t get this team performing well by the end of the season then he needs to pack his bags.

My standards are low, top 4 + CL16/EL finals and most importantly performing as we were promised when he was hired 14 months ago, fast, direct and balanced football while getting some of the youth to perform. If he can’t do that then I don’t see why he should start next season.

I’ll say I was never impressed by EDF and his Sassuollo team, and his Roma team so far is one of my least favorite. De Zerbi and Giampaolo got their teams playing 10 times better than anything I’ve seen from EDF.

Sacking EDF now would mean giving up before even trying. I believe hell get the team to perform. Will it be too late for a possible scudetto push, definitely, this season though even a top four finish might be at risk.

I agree that sacking EDF is not the right option right now, but we need to get it together. The it seems as if were playing a different formation each half of each game so far this year. I just wanna see us come together and get a top four finish at this point.

yea, my biggest criticism of EDF right now is that he doesn't seem to know exactly who his starting 11 should be and what is the best formation for this squad.

Stop tinkering with the starters and the formation and let them get a run of games together.

If EDF fails, we'll have thrown away at least 2 great talents for nothing.

He is not bad after all, just a bit shaky as it is his first move to a major club in his career. Problem is all roads lead to Roma's goal.
