    Derby 2 - Peterborough 1

Addison scored early (4') for the Rams, and they held the lead until the 84th minute when Boyd hit a penalty for The Posh. Teale scored the game winner just three minutes later.

The Rams played pretty well overall, especially in the first half. Peterborough came on a bit stronger in the second half and had some chances.

Not the greatest performance for the banged-up Rams. This was a tough loss to newly-promoted Scunthorpe. The defense is having a tough time, and there really seems to be no solid answer at forward.

    Blackpool 0-0 Derby

The Rams got Commons and Hulse back from injury. Looks like they contributed a bit, but unfortunately, the team couldn't finish. The defense played a good game.

Plymouth comes to Pride Park on Saturday.

    Derby County 2-1 Plymouth Argyle

Good game for the Rams after a slow start. They seemed to come on strong late in the first half and continued solid play in the second half. Nice goal by Addison for the win.

Steven Davies got carted off with a knee injury.

Derby stands in 10th place with seven points.

    Nottingham Forest 3-2 Derby County

A tale of two halfs in the derby. Forest completely takes control in the first half and goes up 3-0 at halftime. The Rams play much better in the second half and make a game of it. The comeback falls short, though.

Forest comes to Pride Park in January. Should be fun.

The Rams and their fans will be disappointed the team didn't come away with at least one point here against one of the better sides in the Championship. It could have gone either way, but a late goal by the Blades was the difference.

The Rams now stand tied for 12th with seven points. Next up, Barnsley visits Pride Park on Tuesday.

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Derby County

The Rams are struggling. Their offense showed a little life in at home against Barnsley, but it wouldn't last. Not much of an attack at all versus Crystal Palace. The team often starts strong but seems to fade as the match goes on.

The Rams are still at seven points, but they've fallen in the table to a tie for 17th place. They've yet to win on the road.

    Derby County 1-0 Bristol City

A much-needed win for Derby. They seemed to control the game, though they still had a tough time finishing. The Robins were down a man for a good part of the second half, and Gary Teale scored the game winner in the 85th minute.

Derby move up a spot to a tie for 16th place with 10 points. Next up, a tough road match at Cardiff.

    Cardiff City 6-1 Derby County
    Derby County 3-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Well, that was an interesting few days.

The Rams get destroyed by Cardiff. Michael Chopra scored four goals for the home side. The Bluebirds needed a win, and they sure got it. This one was over early.

Derby rebounds nicely, and the offense has a nice day versus Wednesday. The Rams controlled the match from the start. Lee Croft gets his first goal for the team.

The Rams are at 13 points, tied for 16th in the league. A trip to Leicester is up next, after a break for international play.

    Leicester City 0-0 Derby County

Defense ruled the day at The Walkers Stadium as Derby fails to get its first road win. The teams combined for only six shots on goal, three for each side. Leicester seemed to control the first half, while the Rams led the second. It was the Derby's second draw of the year, with both coming on the road.

The team is now at 14 points, tied for 17th. A trip to Middlesbrough is next.

    Week 13 and 14
    Middlesbrough 2-0 Derby County
    Derby 2-4 QPR

Tough week for the Rams. Injuries are taking their toll on the team.

The team is still without a road win after an ugly game at Boro. Commons got injured. McEveley got injured. Things went from bad to worse.

Today wasn't any better. After going up 2-0 in the first half, Derby saw QPR come back and score four unanswered goals. The defense seemed to just fall apart.

The Rams remain at 14 points. Next up is a visit to Ipswich.

    Ipswich Town 1-0 Derby County

Not the prettiest game as Ipswich gets its first win of the year. The Rams still haven't won a road game.

It's really a sad state of affairs at Derby. The injury situation is awful, and the team named only five subs for the game.

The Rams hold 20th spot in the table, still at 14 points. They'll host Coventry City this week.

    Derby County 2-1 Coventry City

A much-needed win at home. Things looked bad early as Leon Best scored in the 4th minute to give the Sky Blues the lead. That all changed in the second half at Rob Hulse went off. He scored in the 49th minute and followed that up with another goal in the 62nd. He missed a hat trick when his penalty shot got saved in the 82nd minute.

Coventry went down a man at about the hour mark after Jordan Clarke was sent off.

Derby is now in a six-way tie for 14th place with 17 points. Next league match is a trip to Swansea City.

    Swansea City 1-0 Derby County

The Rams are still without a win on the road after a late goal by Federico Bessone sealed the win for Swansea. Clough had to make some changes to the line-up, both to deal with injuries and to try to spark the team. The defense did an okay job, but the attack was really lacking.

Derby is still at 17 points, now tied for 19th place. Reading comes to Pride Park next week.

    Derby County 2-1 Reading

Home wins are keeping the Rams from the bottom of table, and they grabbed another one against the Royals. Neither team did much in the first half though the pace was pretty good early on. Rob Hulse scored late in the game to seal the win.

Derby is at 20 points and in 16th place. West Brom visits Pride Park next week.

    Weeks 19 and 20
    Derby County 2-2 WBA
    Preston 0-0 Derby County

Two draws for the Rams this week. They've now gone three games without a loss.

Paul Dickov scored the only goal of the first half, giving Derby a 1-0 lead over WBA at the break. A late goal by Simon Cox tied the game. Then, in stoppage time, it looked like a win for the visitors as Graham Dorrans scored. It took another late goal, this time by Derby's DJ Campbell, to seal the draw with WBA. Things got a little testy during the game.

Things were a little calmer in the second game. Both teams played somewhat defensively. Derby hasn't played well on the road, and it was good to get a point here.

The Rams are at 22 points and in 17th place. They visit Watford next.

    Watford 0-1 Derby County

The Rams get their first road win of the year. This brings Derby's unbeaten run to four games.

It was a nice performance given the injuires the team has suffered. Chris Porter, who's been hit with injuries, scored on a header in the 77th minute.

The Rams are at 25 points, but they remain in 17th place. Doncaster comes to Pride Park next.

    Derby County 0-2 Doncaster

The Rams had their chances, they they couldn't finish as they fall to Doncaster, 2-0. It was a cold, nasty day at Pride Park.

Billy Sharp continued his scoring streak for Rovers and scored in the 21st minute to take a lead they wouldn't lose. This was Doncaster's fourth straight win. Derby ends a four-game unbeaten streak.

Rob Hulse came on in the 56th minute.

Derby holds at 25 points and hosts Blackpool next week.

It's back-to-back home losses for the Rams. They were plain awful in this game. The team looked unsure. It was over long before Dean Moxey got sent off with his second yellow card of the game.

Brett Ormerod seemed to be everywhere for the visitors. He scored once and could have had a few more.

Derby is in 18th place with 25 points. Things don't get any easier as they visit Newcastle next.

    Newcastle 0-0 Derby County

A nice result for the Rams in this one. It was a much-needed point, especially after two home defeats.

Things looked shaky at the start as Newcastle put on quite a bit of pressure. Derby's defense held, and the offense showed a little more life in the second half. Miles Addison and Jake Buxton returned from injury and had a great game.

The Rams remain in 18th place, now with 26 points. Scunthorpe visits next.

Well, it was ugly. The Rams had a tough time as the defense seemed to collapse. They went down 2-0 at halftime and never really recovered.

The home fans weren't happy, and they let manager Nigel Clough know it. The booes were loud and clear.

Next up is a visit to Peterborough.

The Rams get a much-needed road win, though they got a bit of help from the stuggling home side. Peterborough had both central defenders sent off late in the first half.

With a two-man advantage, Derby controlled the game the entire second half. DJ Campbell scored twice.

Derby is tied for 17th place with 29 points. Next up is a visit to Plymouth.

Well George, I guess this makes two of us on here.

Spookily, you're a Revs and Rams fan from New England and I'm a Rams and Revs fan from old England.

Better season for the Rams this time eh?
