They’re just not a team built to come from behind; the aim is to score a goal and defend it. The only time all season they’ve won after being behind was a 7 minute burst against a pathetic Rapids team. Whenever they go a goal down I have zero faith that they have the dynamic ability to come back with such slow buildup play. They really need some new dangerous forward players to be any sort of threat this season.
Nothing new in Houston, if I am not mistaking, our record there is one win, two draws and all the rest defeats.
on the red card, to me it looks intentional when slowed down and momentum at full speed. but anything can look intentional when slowed down I don't like red cards like that either for my team or the opposing team
Yes. In the paper, Goff criticized Jara and McCann for not closing down enough, but they were scrambling back after pushing forward when Birnbaum passed it right into the Houston high press.
Well what do you think of the slightly (only enough to look like a mistake) gray shorts. I personally love the transparent white shirts because they showcase the sports bras that they wear underneath.
My wife was intrigued by the grey shorts. Toward the end of the game she decided she actually liked them, but at first she was just wondering whether they were actually supposed to be grey or whether the guy who does the DCU laundry was just bad at his job I just thought they didn't match.
Run DMB was so put off by how little DCU resembled the old team with it's flair and panache, he retired: https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/damarcus-beasley-announces-retirement.2103904/#post-37798515
