What: DC United @ Orlando City FC Where: Some stadium outside Disney World When: Sunday, June 14th 2015 7 PM EST Why is the game on Sunday?: To spend an extra day at the theme parks. Duhhhhh. TV: Fox Sports 1 Mandatory Cute Baby Animal: Man eating hippo
a) that's a woman, silly 2) I assume she eats the hippo in the next frame They've been playing some interesting ball lately, they seem to lose, then win big, then lose, etc. So, if they won the game before we play them, then we should be fine. I voted a win up top (because who cares about polls, you should always lie in them) but I'm gonna say we tie 2-2
Actually, hippos don't eat men - or women. They just sorta smush them up so a real river carnivore, like a crocodile, can better enjoy the dining experience. Little known fact: only mosquitoes kill more people in Africa than hippos.
Not sure how to feel about this one. We finally get some needed rest with no mid week match, but Orlando look better than last time we were there, then again so do we. My guess is 1-2 with United breaking purple hearts again late.
Do we have any groups going down to this game? I am down here and will be going and was wondering if there are plans for a group that I might want to sit with.
I bought tickets through the SE. I dunno how their stadium policy is if you want to join the section with a regular ticket. You can still buy through the SE if you don't have a ticket yet. Also Lot 6 is the "DC' lot if you are parking.
That doesn't seem right. People kill more hippos in Africa than mosquitoes worldwide? I'm pretty sure there just aren't enough hippos in Africa for that. People probably kill more mosquitoes in Africa alone.
I knew this misreading was coming...heh. I had to read it twice to get the drift too. Hippos killed by humans > Hippos killed by mosquitoes English weirds language.
Kyle Larin is away with the Canadian National team. He's been pretty good recently so that may help. I'm not sure how this will turn out. Could be damn hot down there. At least we'll be training in some hot weather before they head to Orlando so it won't be a huge shock. And at least it's not the 5 PM game. That would be brutal on turf.
Lot 6 is listed on the parking map I found on the Citrus Bowl website. From the stadium, it goes Gate B, then Lot 5, then Lot 6.
