Cech may magically be ready by the Europa League just like last time he was listed as "injured" for the Premiere League.

I'm happy he's getting games and playing, ideally I'd like him to play Europa but if he can get all the EPL games for the rest of the season I'd be happy, the more games the better and especially this close to the World Cup.

Yup I just feel that Ospina will be blamed for everything. Atlético is better then Arsenal it’s like when Bayern destroyed them. It wasn’t 100% Ospina fault. He was bad those games but still. 10 goals in 2 games wtf was the defense doing!!!! How about the coach!

Oh I don't think many Arsenal fans blamed Ospina, Wenger and the whole defense were terrible. Arsenal's problems have been clear and Cech has been bad in a lot of games over the last two years and especially this year. Just wish they gave Ospina a real chance to win the job rather then sticking with Cech.

Oh please Arsenal fans are a prime example of scapegoating any player that they can blame on. I remember that Ospina and Cech got their asses chewed by the fans on a regular basis despite the consistent issue not being the GK but rather the ********ing defense. No matter who is GK, Arsenal's defense keeps allowing the chance for the other team to score.

Now that Wenger is actually leaving the club, makes me wonder how they're going to approach their seasons without blaming the coach with the excuse that he's been here too long.

If anything Ospina has a point to start over Cech given that he's in the world cup and Cech isn't; he needs to make a statement on the pitch on how much playing time is valuable to him.

Umm the issue has been the defense and the goalies. Ospina less so then Cech, but Cech has had some really bad games. Enough blame to go around but the blame being on the club and wenger is completely warranted. They've had the same problems over and over without fixing it, Ospina has not been targeted as a major issue at all, Cech on the other hand has seen his level drop considerably.

Biggest issue is their defending and they give up quality chances, but as a goalie that's the job to make saves and Ospina when he's had chances nor Cech has looked like world beaters.

Defense ********ed up and Madrid tied it. Ospina did a great save but that wasn't enough. Announcers blaming Arsenal's defense.

Yeah, Arsenal's defense has a lot of room for improvement. Ospina made the save vs Greizmann, but the defender slips and fails to clear it.

Ospina played well, Arsenal's defense was poor as usual and the offense wasn't good enough.

Atlético has one of the best defenses out there and Oblak is a monster. True, Arsenal should have scored a couple more, but that is Simeone’s script: Defend with everything and hope a counterattack or a free kick creates danger; and then you have Arsenal’s iffy defending....

Well Ospina will have a lot to prove on the second leg. If he keeps up that form and Arsenal learn from their mistake they still have a chance because all they would need is one goal lead over Atletico.

Though one. Spinning of the back head of Fellaini into the post.... Not sure if other keepers could have stopped that...

A top keeper should save that, Ospina at this point isn't a top keeper unfortunately. He reacted very slowly to a looping header that was very save-able.
