Jimmy really has no clue how to handle things with a touch of common sense. Has he zero people skills?

I mean Pallotta has been at the end of abuse since he changed our Crest, but I have never seen it this bad. Pallottas only interest is the stadium, he doesnt care about the club. If the stadium keeps getting delayed I have a feeling he will put the club up for sale.

The more I think about it, the more I am not surprised. I should have always been skeptical of a Celtics idiot being in charge. They traded away their franchise player without even thinking twice after he spent 10+ years there and “brought” them a championship (albeit he was overrated).
So I can imagine he can give a damn about De Rossi.

Pallotta is a board member in a minority ownership group for the Celtics. He has made zero personnel decisions for them.

The Pierce and DDR situations are apples to oranges. American sports to Serie A clubs is comparing apples to cinder blocks.

Fienga called De Rossi to communicate they feel hed better in a role off the pitch and wouldnt be renewing. Daniele said that he briefly discussed with Pallotta about a possible pay per play contract a year and bit prior. Then Fienga spoke to Pallotta and called De Rossi back 40 min later saying hes ok with that contract. De Rossi was upset and he said how is that nobody speaks to me for over a year and they came at me to get rid of me, and now ok with that contract. For personal dignity he refused.

    I think Franco Baldini is Pallotta's foster-father.

He didnt add the first part where they told him they wouldnt be renewing. The translation starts after the second call.

Something has to be lost in translation in that.

He says he'll play for pay on a per game basis, the club agrees and then he says no?

    That doesn't sound right.

Ranieri said decisions are being made by men with grey hair in Boston and London (referring to Pallotta and Baldini).

I kept quiet and will still keep quiet until the whole situation cools down and things get clearer.

Let's see what the coming days will uncover.
