I don't think so. I forget the exact numbers but LA was ranked 5th or 6th, which didn't exactly strike me as something to brag about, these are the same folks who were incredulous at the various power ranking lists having LA so low. Also they circled the 69, not the actual rank given by 538, they were specifically referencing the number 69.
Not Galaxy related but I don't venture far from here. The new BS logo's left star is misaligned, at least on mobile, and it's driving me nuts
Believe it or not my eyesight is atrocious. Just part of my job to notice things like that, it's like a weird sixth-sense. The logo felt unbalanced and so I took a closer look to see what was leading to that. At first I thought it might be a difference in the spacing between the vertical rules which led me to the difference in the stars.
The left and right stars are definitely misaligned even on the full web version. I would have to say that it's the left start that's misaligned.
It’s way more than a pixel for the left star. Also the terminators of the outer vertical rules are not aligned, almost as if the circle used to create the mask was incorrectly expanded or nudged off center. The center vertical rule has a point that’s also off-center. There are other minor issues like the width of the vertical rules being inconsistent, but that may be as much to do with reducing the size of a larger logo, though if your logo is prone rendering artifacts after reduction you should really create an alternate specifically designed to work at smaller sizes or tweak it by hand to fix those errors.
Great job at highlighting the multiple sloppy misalignments. One mistake could just be an oversight, but 3+ easily avoided alignment errors in one logo screams "lazy, don't care."

Yeah, I mean it’s just a supplementary logo for a message board, it’s not on the same level as some of the stuff the Galaxy does. Standard of execution is lower comparatively, just one of those things that once you become attune to those things they stick out. Like knowing too much about coffee or wine. See my sig.
