D. Beasley, Sonny Guadarrama: Puebla vs. Atlante, 1/22 (R)

Happening now. As always, there's an MLS aspect with Puebla coach J. Carlos Osorio and the one and only, Andres Mendoza playing Atlante lol

 

Off the ball, Beasley looks a threat, especially in give-and-go situations.

 

Just skimming through Beasley's Twitter and listening to the commentating on the club's instability with the stadium vs. local government, and Juan Carlos Osorio hinting at leaving the club mid-contract, I don't Beasley will be sticking around much longer.

 

Oswaldo Martinez's power shot makes it Atlante 1 Puebla 0. Andres Mendoza on the goal celebration takes a papp's camera an takes photos of the Atlante players dancing or whater.

Puebla has former Houston Dynamo player Landin, and well, he's being his normal self so far this half.

 

65 ' Like for like sub Wila enters and exits Armando Luis Angel Landin, who the fanatics boo and whistle. I mentioned earlier he was his usual slacker unproductive self. Atlante have been pulling away on the possession front this half. Haven't heard much of Beasley's name this second half.

 

70th minute Andres Mendoza scores to make it 2-0.

72nd minute Ex-Barca and Liverpool guy Luis Garcia makes it 2-1.

 

Harsh tackle on Beasley in the 77th minute just outside the box. Beasley was aware attack the goal seeing a loose ball but was hackled. Set play attempt was a waste.

 

Game has opened up in a major way this last 15 minutes remaining.

 

Final. Atlante 2 Puebla 1 Booooooooooooooooooooooooos around the stadium. Puebla are a complete grease fire of a club.
