I can't edit anymore. Auba can't play. Lineup looks very defensive minded:

    Bürki
    Toprak Sokratis Bartra
    Toljan Weigl Guerreiro Schmelzer
    Kagawa
    Yarmo Pulisic

1-0. They had like 10 chances to score in the first 10 minutes.

Doesn't look like a promising game for us. 1:0 for them

Damn, Yarmo should have scored there. Goal line clearance saves it for Bayern.
    Early sub, Dahoud for Bartra.

Oh well, 2:0 at the half for them. We are clearly second best but we had a great chance to equalize. Doesn't change the enormous difference between the teams.

Defense is atrocious. On the second goal you have Toprak letting Lewandowski do what he wants without even putting a body on him and Schmelzer not track9ing Muller like he is supposed to.

Schurrle gets himself offside , then the touch of a rapist , and a great chance wasted
Love to know who advocated or sanctioned his purchase

Yarmo scores. Bayern haven't done much in the last 20 minutes and let us play. Repeat of last year?

We almost punished them for Lewa's semi-dive but Schürrle blasts it past the goal while half the team waited in Bayern's penalty area for anything useful.

Bayern got complacent and lazy in the end. That could have ended in a better result for us.
Bürki saved us from a blowout. I thought Dahoud looked pretty good. Probably his best game for us. He still had a couple of easy mistakes but otherwise he finally looked like a player that should play for us and who can be competitive in a game against Bayern. One of the few who wasn't intimidated and played with confidence.

Dahoud has the potential to be a big game player. Showed it every year since he joined BMG and now us as well. If only he got the time to polish his game. I cannot possibly be the only one who sees how much of a gem this kid is. I would let him and Weigl play permanently next to each other.

We need to get rid of Toprak (cannot defend), Schmelzer (cannot advance the ball) and Schürrle (can't do fückall). Utter garbage, game in game out. Sahin and Rode should join this pack too.

Gurreiro needs to go back to being a LB. He would be a world beater there and would play 90 min.

I think Dahoud is going to be a good player. I think Toljan did better today, and he is getting better too.

I suppose PS chose experience over youth with the Schurrle substitution, but I would have rather seen Isak get those minutes. It was nice to see him make an adjustment which is world's better than Bosz.

There are lots of things PS did that wouldn't even have occurred to PB. I can see why he chose to go with a 3 man backline. The fault doesn't lie with the tactics but the fact that Toorak is such a lazy and useless CB. Lewandowski isolated him easily. Schmelzer doesn't have the smarts to identify that and help him out, nor does he have the physical disposition to.

The in game changes all helped us big time. We ran out of time.

The only thing I hold PS accountable for is mis using RG. He should be playing at LB. Maybe it's because there are fewer options ahead of him ie no Philipp and Reus. And also he didn't have PEA which made him risk averse.

It's been a very disheartening year. When I am more excited to see departures rather than purchases, the fault lies with Watzke who absolutely needs to go.

I saw the 2nd half and Dahoud was very good. Bosz used him so poorly. In theory the midfield of Weigl/Dahoud/Gotze should be excellent for years to come. The defence is an issue, but Raphael needs to be played at left back. That is his position and he will only iron out his weaknesses there, by playing left back more often.

Don't think that Guerreiro defends well enough to be a left back . Better suited to midfield .

BTW slash, before you go on another rant about how it was a mistake to sack Tuchel please remember he's the reason we signed Castro, Rode, Schürrle and Toprak, so no thanks.
