http://www.dcunited.com/news/2015/0...announce-24-game-schedule-for-2015-mls-season Just announced by the team. CSN Washington will televise 24 matches this season, up from 16 last season, In addition to United's 10 national television appearances (ESPN, FS1, Univision networks), this means that all United matches will be televised locally in DC Great job CSN..
Damn. Other than getting knocked out of the CCL what will we have to complain about up until the beginning of the season?
No no, we'll be complaining that we beat America by 4 goals in Mexico and now the return leg is just a formality to pick up our trophy.
Oh, thanks a lot! I'll never get this image of an armored animal being used as a sexual instrument out of my mind.
I have been very critical of CSN over the past N years; I gotta give them props here. Now if they can just agree to send an announcing crew to the actual match.
I wonder - will announcers be traveling for away games, or still watching a monitor in the studio? edit to say sorry - I didn't see that this same question had already been asked.
Does this mean all DCU games will be blacked out on MLS Live in the DC region? So no watching at work or on your phone when you can't get to a TV?
Did anyone watch the Friday night MLS game on UniMas 47 from DC? I have DirecTV and was unable to access the SAP function to get the English language broadcast. Was wondering if anyone else had this issue. Thx, Jay!
I think everyone was having problems with getting the SAP english audio feed that night. I stopped trying after a while but my friend said it started working in something like the 80th minute.
I used the 400 level Unimas channel and the match was in English the entire time. Pre-match show was in Spanish, but I don't believe they ever promised that to be in English. On a side note, it's a bit surreal seeing someone like Landon Donovan speak fluent Spanish.
I had trouble on FIOS. I'm not sure if it ever resolved. I fast forwarded through lots of the match, but I think I watched portions after the 80th minute.
I also have DirecTV and watched on channel 455 (HD vs. 47 SD), which was in English for the whole broadcast.
47 and the 400-level one used to be different channels, I forgot that was all the same now - I never thought to go look in the 400s once the local version wasn't in English - especially since the 400s are the Spanish-Language section - it figures that one would have been in English Oh well, it being in Spanish meant I watched a whole lot less of it and that was probably a good thing overall.
I love the DirecTV SAP setup. Being a native English speaker, I've never had a reason to check out SAP on any TV ever. I followed the steps for DirecTV, and the way they are set up, the game would have come in in English to me had I never even checked. Very easy. I didn't even know there was a local version of the channel; good thing I didn't. Also I watched the game on DVR, so that records over as well.
