Go. I've been to Ambergris Caye on six different occasions. The diving is really great, it's relatively inexpensive compared to a lot of other Caribbean destinations, and the people are extremely friendly. I will, however, be a bit of a school marm in one respect: swimming with sharks is cool, but I wouldn't dive with any shop that chums the water so you can do so. Just like feeding bears or bison at Yellowstone, it encourages behavior that's not good for the sharks in the long run.
Yes, that's it. With the Brit host. http://www.animalplanet.com/tv-shows/river-monsters/fish-guide/giant-freshwater-stingray/
Belize is great if you are looking for a ocean vacation. Diving snorkel etc. I think there and Honduras are the two best options. I didn’t really know much about it I was just busing down through Central America and stopped in Belize to see what was cool there before heading to Guatemala.
Found this gem in another thread: Fox News tried coming after Denmark's social safety net. This Danish politician's retort was legendary. pic.twitter.com/VLh1Gc4umg— NowThis Impact (@nowthisimpact) August 15, 2018
Agreed and possibly not good for the divers in the short run. https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2016/10/baiting--behavior-and-big-sharks/ https://www.aaas.org/blog/qualia/chumming-leading-more-shark-attacks
Lol I saw that lady interviewing Ben Shapiro and she said something like “I can’t believe the democrats are embracing socialism. I mean just look at what’s happening in places like Venezuela, North Korea and Denmark.” I was like wtf??? One of those is not like the other.
What was nice how she tried to slap the Denmark school system Really? Her being on a tv show capable of producing shit like that is on its own worth as a degrading of the USA school system.
Well, that lunitic observation isnot only found in the USA. When Obama was running for president, the left parties were in love with Obama ( left wing politician Femke Halsema swarmed for him) and right wing politicians were in favour of John McCain. The funny thing is that those right wing VVD politician van Baalen would be considered a left winger by most of the Yanks and Obama in fact in many things that matter is to be positioned in the right wing of that conservative party. I was watching that then and was amazed by the stupidity of both thinking that their positions in the political spectrum has its mirror in Democrats and Republicans.
It's pointless debating him. He would "win" a "debate" where he would question if the molecular formula of water is not H20. It would not actually be a debate over pro/cons of having a position. It would be to "own the libs" against someone who has never actually debated. We saw it with Trump's debates. He never actually defended a position with facts. He just belittled and made stuff up ... and he won the debates. Well, anything that involves taxation, safety net, etc is socialism now for a significant part of the American population.
That is the saddest, most demoralizing definition of "winning" ever. And the truly sad part is that you are correct.
Actually, he lost all three on next-day polling. But after a while the memory of that paled next to EMAILS!
I'm pretty sure that Hillary's numbers got better or at least stayed the same after each of the debates.
See Hillary was far too Midwestern at the debates. Maybe it was difficult trying to be a hardass as a woman. So I get that. IMO she "had to show him Da Bronx" as Bobby Bonilla once said. It's the only language Dotard understands & backs down from.
She scared him enough so that he called her a nasty woman. That worked on Americans, their rule being that assertive men are tough and assertive women are bitches. At least, that's what white Americans think, if the woman is a Democrat. If she's a Republican, well that would probably be OK ...
Political Debates are stupid. You’ve already preconceived your positions so unless your candidate does something outrageously stupid you’re going to support them and think they won no matter what. Presidential debates are only interesting but in so much as they get the candidates in a tense situation and you can see how they react unscripted. But let’s be real. A left right debate could see the leftist advocating for nationalizing all large corporations and a rightest arguing that if kids have pre existing conditions then that’s God’s plan. And most of you would put the YouTube clips up talking about how your side owned the other.
The gift that keeps on giving. The exodus from Venezuela threatens to descend into chaos https://t.co/oowj2UFnjE— The Economist (@TheEconomist) August 20, 2018
I’m honestly surprised it’s not worse. People are literally starving to death and as of yet it hasn’t destabilized Colombia.
