what this poll does tell you is how we as humans are so caught up in emotions and lack of logic. and this is the same reason why zidane is rated as a top 10 or top 5 ever footballer by the younger audience. the audience is less interested in efficiency and end result and more interested it what easily pleases the eye. i also remember a poll not too long ago that rated zinedine zidane as the greatest european player ever (i believe it was in 2006 or so)
Best was undoubtedly the superior dribbler, but Utd Ronaldo was probably more consistent and the greater goal scorer.
