Of course I leave work when it is 2-0 Wiz... and I get home and Crew wins 3-2... wow .... ...not bad for a "horrible" game... Glad to see the US Open Cup in a place that might actually have a crowd for a Cup final. Congratulations. -js

Actually, I like Bretos and Hopkins quite a lot, they just need to do their MLS homework.. Too many errors on their part with name pronunciation (Zavagnin being butchered the whole match) and their misidentification of the ref Michael Kennedy.. They put some other dudes name up on the screen at the beginning to ID the ref, but it is clearly Michael Kennedy.. Also, in fine Fox Sports World tradition, they can't go one match without screwing up the starting lineups during the pregame.. The spotters seemed to do well with all the European lineups but when it comes to any MLS team playing on FSW, they inevitably screw it up.. Very entertaining last half of the match.. Edson Buddle is a special player.....

you mean like bonseau? yea, we traded him so we could keep pelusa...well, not really...we traded him to keep duncan who played a pretty horrible match tonight but has played well all year... if we somehow could have gotten the green card for duncan and kept bonseau this team would be leading mls right now...i have no doubts.
Just got back from the game. Sparse crowd but they got their money's worth. A quick recap: Crew suck for 75 minutes, go down 2-0 after a very early goal and what should have been the nail in the coffin. Perez feeds Kyle who dribbles then feeds Buddle who jukes a defender then blasts the ball past fatso for goal one. A deflection from a Garcia corner comes right to Perez who smokes the ball past the NFL reject. In the second overtime, Buddle charges tubby, who smothers the ball but fails to control leaving it sitting about 2/3 over the line. Buddle pulls it back, feeds a charging Perez who buries the game winner. Pile on Perez at the corner flag, fans charge the field, some are attacked by security, the place goes nuts. - I'm exhausted and hoarse. -
stunning match. the entire game sucked for 75 minutes. neither team was good. the ref was worse. and we pulled it off. i didnt know the crew were capable of such things. this has to be one of the greatest victories in club history.
