Ugh. A penalty save isn't enough to get us a win. Cbus @ Atlanta in the knockout round. I know no one wanted this result, but I'm not scared. They're a whopping one point better than us, they're faltering just a little bit, and we're as hot as anyone. As much as we didn't want to play them, I guarantee you -- they were hoping to play anyone BUT us in reverse. Buckle up.
So we're @ Atlanta...with a RBNYvChicago final. I believe the higher ranked team winning the knockouts play vs. NYCFC, lower side vs. Toronto. So, we're hoping we win and Chicago wins?
Given the news of this past week, I gotta say, it is really gut-wrenching for me to watch the Spectrum ads for the Crew. And frankly to watch Dwight and Neil. F***** you, Prec***. Snake.
No gd way I can make the away playoff match. I hope those of you with less responsibilities make the trip! I would like to lay in bed and cry now.
At least we will host MLS cup when we get to the finals. Garber would probably try to change the rule when he realizes it.
Guess what? The only way an eastern team is NOT guaranteed to host MLS Cup is if the Red Bulls get there — and they would still have a chance.
Supposedly the field dimensions matched those at Yankee Stadium. Looked to me like they made it smaller. That game reminded me of the 5 v 5 pregame warm-up teams use. No space anywhere.
Per MLS app and twitter, we play Thursday at 7pm on ESPN2. Good thing we’re playing ATL, on the big network then.
Adam Jahn kicking the ball directly to their keeper in stoppage time cost us a bye and a guaranteed home game in the most pivotal time for the entire franchise. I want to cry too.
Anyone who watched this knows Josh is a natural-born striker. https://www.columbuscrewsc.com/post/2017/10/11/who-wins-josh-vs-justin-fifa-18?autoplay=true
Well yes and no. There were 17 games where we did not win that could have made a difference to the standings. So I wouldn’t say all the blame should sit on Jahns shoulders.
I'm going to wreck my body so bad and I don't even care. Please reallocate all monies to the Get Our Team Back From That ********ing Trust Fund Troglodyte Foundation. Oh, and let's kick Atlanta's teeth in.
The way we passed through their high pressure was so good at times. It was really fun to watch. On an unrelated note, how about that dust-up between Manneh and Santos? Whoa.
