Zamparini has said he is selling to Americans (unclear if the same or different as the previous group he said didn't have a good enough offer before) in March. Start the countdown. You'll notice the last post is from October with a link that reads "sell within a month," so take it with a grain of salt
Cascio back in talks not that the last deal fell through. Zampa being raided by the financial police, threatening to play the youth team, etc. Its all chaos. More than a little worrying. Hopefully Cascio and his group can put together a good bid in a short time. Zamp has claimed he doesn't care about the value of the team, as long as the new ownership makes promises about future investment (stadium, team, etc.). The last offer was 20m for the team and no guarantees about anything else, which is why Zamp claimed he pulled the plug. Official press releases have been coming out on pretty much a daily basis lately.
Looks like he’s still screwing over the club even after the sale. It was near impossible to watch any of the Serie B games in the States. Next few years are going to be pretty rough.
