Now the director for TG.com, a Mediaset subsidiary, is entering the fray with some idiotic comments. Whining about the commentary on RAI, complaining about Atalanta playing the games of their lives against Napoli, being a satellite club of Juve. The stupid really flows in Italy.
Oh yeah, because a Romanista working for Mediaset wouldn't have any kind of an agenda. Apparently it's wrong for Atalanta to sell us Caldara, but he conveniently fails to mention (or maybe he forgot...?) that they sold Gagliardini to our hated "rivals" merda at the same time. A player we were supposedly interested in as well. Not exactly a particularly good example of Calciopoli-esque influence and control we're supposedly exerting right now, is it? And perhaps Atalanta played out of their skin against the likes of Napoli and Roma because by beating Napoli they move within three points of them, and could actually make the dream of qualifying for the Champions League a reality? You know, maybe they have ambition and they realize that nobody is going to give them the chance unless they take it themselves. I wouldn't be surprised, considering what a Juventino their manager is. Juventini are nothing if not ambitious, after all. Or perhaps they just didn't rollover the way entitled cunts like Roma and Nipoli expected them to...
Napoli may not but Roma prolly will, esp. since they look like they will be getting their new stadium. their new stadium.
I never thought I'd agree with that sentiment, but it's true. You have one well-run team in Italy in Juve, and a bunch of loser, crybaby, excuse-making clubs, incapable of self-critical reflection. Winning the league has become pretty stale.
In what world should any other club in Italy be a part of a European Super League? Roma never win anything. Same with Napoli. Milan and Inter have taken quite a step back from their best years. Milan have the best claim to be part of this type of league due to their pedigree. However, I don't know that you can include them in such a list now considering they have become a feeder club. Gone are the days of Maldini, Baresi, Shevchenko, Van Basten, Weah, Savicevic, etc.
Is Juventus staying in Naples or are they traveling back and forth for Wednesday's Coppa Italia match? Just curious because it seems kind of silly to go back to Turin on Monday and return back to Naples on Tuesday...
It does not appear that they will extend their stay in Napoli. http://www.football-italia.net/100367/juventus-hotel-lockdown
Chiellini was all dressed up after the game. Not sure if he is going out on the town in Naples with the rest of the team or if he was just dressed that way for another reason... Unless they are taking a charter flight, they will be on a long road trip back to Turin. It takes 8 hours by car or bus and 5 or 6 by train....
They're not going back to Turin, but they're not staying in Naples either. Close enough to travel, far enough to not to have to deal with the city.
Down to 3 forwards, if that is what you consider Cuadrado. No Mandzu and also no Moise. I guess Allegri doesn't want to throw him into that cauldron.
The fact that Juve are going to Napoli and wearing the blue uniform AGAIN tonight show shows who's boss lol
Higuain has wiped away the Napoli away goal. Juventus lead 1-0 and 4-1 on aggregate. Reina should have done a lot better. Napoli 0-1 Juventus HT Napoli have been dominating possession again but few clear chances other then Callejon right at Neto near the start of the match. Juventus look more comfortable than on Sunday.
Napoli 1-1 Juventus. Neto makes a great save from a header and the move continues and Hamsik eventually fires in. Nothing Neto could have done. Powerful shot from the edge of the box.
Napoli 1-2 Juventus. Higuain finishes a great counter attack. Alex Sandro does really well to get past Napoli defenders and frees Cuadrado who pulls back for Higuain to finish in the top of the net. Napli 2-2 Juventus. Dries Martens scores within seconds his substitution. Incredibly poor from Neto whose footwork was awful and Martens fires it in.
Napoli 3-2 Juventus. Insigne manages to bundle the ball in. Juventus are in danger of falling apart. Pjanic replaces the poor Rincon.
