Goooooooooooooool de Everton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lanús(Arg) 1 Everton(Chi) 2 Biglieri(L, de penal), R.Gutiérrez(E), J.L.Muñoz(E) Minuto 93
They got a nice group of young players, and they're doing well in Argentina so far, but theuy don't have enough of a squad to compete in both tournaments at the same time. Tonight they should have made their chances, but they also lost because they were outhustled. And remember that Everton didn't play over the weekend, so maybe that's one reason why they had more energy tonight.
It's in my blog, at the very bottom. I'm trying to update it each week: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/blog.php?b=4258
Based on what i said before about Lanús lacking the mentality to compete in the Libertadores, this likely early exit was the best thing that could happen to them, because now they'll just have to worry about the league in which they have good chances of stealing the show.
Man, Lanus is truely surprising. Indisputable first place spot in the Argentine tournament, but last in their Libertadores group. 0 wins in 4 games! I was expecting them to do well. Not necessarily an easy pass to the next round, but I definitely didn't expect them to do so horribly.
Everton is a horrible team... but Lanus ended up being worse. Fuck them. Can't wait for next year... we'll show these ruletas who's their daddy.
What a poor excuse for a game in Colombia! But I'm looking forward to Cuenca vs Tachira next. Both teams have shown some fight, plus they're both in Boca's group.
Si bien el Malerton no es santo de mi devocion, es bonito ver a los 3 clubes chilenos con serias posibilidades de pasar a 2nda ronda. Hablaria bien de nuestro futbol.
Chilean soccer is definitely looking good at this point. From the looks of it, an Argentine (Lanús) and a Brazilian team (Palmeiras) will see an early exit due to their performance.
