The new SuperCopa Euroamericana will be played tonite. I see in the near future the winner of the recopa sudamericana and the winner of the Euro Supercopa battling to see who is the best club in the world. Bring back the Copa Intercontinental.

It use to be 1 match in Japan....LMFAO...Since when does FIFA make anything official? Like Conmebol and UEFA really care about FIFA putting their badge on it. LOL. So it was FIFA that came up with the Copa Libertadores? Copa Sudamericana, Copa Intercontinental? the Confederations Cup? The Champions League? UEFA Cup? I didn't know FIFA came up with all these tournaments and made it official. WOW

No they are not. This is just a prequel on what's to come. Foreplay. The Copa Intercontinental is not a FIFA tourney. Never was and Never will be!!!!! Fifa tried to get their hands on it but the powers that be told them to shove it. Like I said when the Recopa champions of Europe and the recopa champions of the Conmebol meet. Than it'll be Champions of the world. Thus the copa Intercontinental will come back.

It's been 10 years since the Intercontinental Cup merged with the Club World Cup. It's history is now associated with the CWC. The old format is not coming back, no matter how much some wish it would. And even if some regular competition between UEFA and CONMEBOL does emerge, it won't have the same meaning. It's been a decade people - move on.

This is not endorsed or promoted by either confederation. In fact, you sound a lot like a previous poster who could never shut up about the Intercontinental Cup.

This has nothing to do with FIFA. Take it to someone who cares.

Well, since riBer won the B cup in South America, and Sevilla won the B Cup in Europe, we can say that now, once again, riBer Blate is the champion of the B.
