    From the Evening Standard

Luis Suarez will have no role to play however having undergone knee surgery that ended his season two weeks prematurely.

Elsewhere in attack, Ousmane Dembele is a doubt but Coutinho is likely to be available having overcome a hamstring injury suffered on May 12.

Brazilian midfielder Arthur is another who is struggling for fitness, with Arturo Vidal in line to start ahead of him.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is unavailable due to a knee problem – but was almost certain to serve as Jasper Cillessen’s understudy on the day with the Dutchman Valverde’s preferred option in goal in cup competition.

It could be Cillessen’s last game as a Barcelona player with a summer move likely.

Barcelona predicted XI (4-3-3): Cillessen; Sergi Roberto, Pique, Lenglet, Alba; Busquets, Rakitic, Vidal; Messi, Malcom, Coutinho

Valencia’s only absentee is Denis Cheryshev – who has still travelled with the squad to the Benito Villamarín Stadium on crutches.

Ezequiel Garay meanwhile has returned to training after his recent hamstring injury.

Valencia predicted XI (4-4-2): Domenench; Wass, Gabriel, Garay, Gaya; Carlos Soler, Parejo, Kondogbia, Guedes; Rodrigo, Gameiro

Let's make it five Copas in a row, never been done before!

Semedo, Arthur and Coutinho all medically cleared to play today. Lineup should be out in minutes.

Lineup out and all 3 of the just cleared start, looks like
    Cillessen
    Semedo-Pique-Lenglet-Alba
    Roberto-Rakitic-Busquets-Arthur
    Messi-Coutinho

What do you guys all expect the outcome to be?

I think there will be a lot of motivation to take the Copa given out their CL season finished. Should be a lot of desire and edge in this team to help straighten things out. The double is pretty big too if all things are considered.

Regardless of the season and other results, a final is a final, all trophies matter, and a record is at stake.

Lovely, Craperto in midfield hope he won't sleep at the corners.

Shocking post considering you wanted Barca knocked out of this tournament a few months ago.

Tough to see where the goals will come from, other than, you know, the 6-time Golden Boot.

Give it a rest you defeatist. Now when they're in the final you want me to cheer for Valencia? The way you think is scary.

Roberto as a RW ? I honestly don't care if we lose. And I won't be surprised. Not that it will shake things up apparently

Want this to be a great send-off for Cillessen. We've been spoiled to have a back-up GK as great as he has been.

So instead of playing Vidal in the midfield or Malcom in the wing he plays Craperto ... i seriously want to know what he has on Valverde to play him all the time

I guess Valencia doesn't have the balls or personnel to press high. They should.

Lucky they didn't watch the Liverpool game, otherwise it'd be 2-0 by now.

A couple for Messi would be nice and a cup to end the season on.
