Typical tough match against Uruguay. This was expected because Uruguay only looking for a draw so even at 1-0 they're still somewhat bunkering. I hope Kun is fine, he has been on form of his life. I think Lavezzi should be coming instead of Tevez.

Otamendi was immense, denying Uruguay corner and sprinted from midfield to stop their counter!

Oh Romero better repeat that save everytime we needs it!

 

Well we got the 3 points but I can't say I was impressed by all the chances given up again. Got to learn to close games out better than that.

 

It was a game that had to be played. I thought the likes of Otamendi n Garay were big. Not the best of games but it finished. My worry is that teams in the QF and Semis will try to play like this to go straight to PK's.

Important hard fought out win. Now if we beat Jamaica we will win the group and all will be well in the world. I don't like how we get countered on corner kicks. It was around the 90 minute we got a corner and almost paid on the counter. I rather the team take a short corner than get countered like that.

I have to say we scored a difficult goal to win this game, much like the game against Belgium.

My bad for criticizing Pastore in first half, he played big part on that goal.

 

The team is weak on the left side, middle central-left. The organization needs to be addressed.
