https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=9315481&posted=1#post9315481 I hope he can make it happen, for the sake of the USMNT.
Wow you've been playing with a B team all these years! Amazing!!! So when will mexico grace us with their superior A team.
JA.JA.JA OH ranking should be in South AMERICA only Not North America ! in my opinion America cup should not invite other teams if they are not from SOUTH AMERICA. USA=3 MEXICO=4 YOU ARE REALLY CRAZY! if you are kidding then look my ranking 1) Nicaragua 2) Cuba 3)Honduras... jajaja Solo me haces reir.
If it were up to our DT, which the USMNT currently does not have, I'm sure the USMNT would be going to Copa America without hesitation. No, Sunil Gulati is not the DT. He is the head of the USSF and has to navigate a small mind field of issues, including but not limited to: MLS season in relation to the players going to Copa America, anyone else involved in the management of MLS teams, CONMEBOL, potential security risks to US games played in South America (considering high Anti-American sentiment overseas these days), logistics, etc... The US has refused the invitation they've received for Copa America for the past several years because of MLS scheduling conflicts. Many of the MLS players who would theoretically play on a USMNT team going to Copa America are not usually able to go because their clubs were not letting them go. MLS's season is in summer when Copa America usually takes place, so this reason in particular continues to thwart the US's chances of participating there. That is why I said previously that I hope Sunil Gulati and the USSF can work out a deal that expands Copa America to 16 teams from 10, bringing the US and 5 other usually CONCACAF teams to the tournament. If the USMNT wants to have any semblance of respect in international play, Copa America is the place to start. Eventually, I hope the same thing will happen with Copa Libertadores, but that's a whole different story....
I think it could be the best tourney in a long time. The US is in, and so is Mexico; so, CONCACAF will have its two biggest representatives, and a potential match in the elimination rounds would be one for the ages. Brazil and Argentina may not send full-strength squads but theirs are always strong teams and after Germany 2006, both will look to restore pride. Uruguay is also going to be in the hunt for silverware. it'll be a good one.
The 10 CONMEBOL members plus US and Mexico Brazil Argentina Ecuador Paraguay Uruguay Bolivia Venezuela Peru Chile Colombia Mexico United States
i think the best babes are in valencia, and them caracas....i went to valencia once and went crazy!!!!!
I think this is going to be a great copa America, Argentina and Brazil both going to play superb for the copa , Since both teams didnt won the world cup one of these 2 will Definitely win copa america , Though Im mexican I have faith , Uruguay ,Paraguay are teams that could make a suprise, Colombia,Peru also a teams that give other teams difficulties and make also make a suprise. Who knows , This copa america seems unpredictable.
Imho, Copa America's going to make the beating the USMNT took in World Cup 06 look tame in comparison.
why dont we just have a 2 group 5 team tournie like every other SA tournie ... it just doesnt make sense... now the Concacaf is too scared to invite us to their tournies... guess mexico is still mad about being eliminated
