Oh man what a match. How I celebrated those two goals after the frustration of missing all those chances.

The entire second half was completely dominated by the Islanders. They barely got a shot on goal while we created chance after chance but missed some clear opportunities. It was very frustrating, then out of the blue those two goals came and everybody went mental.

F%$#, Atieno missed like four clear chances, and I thought the Isles were f'd... that LDA GK gave us quite a nice gift thank you, then Atieno FINALLY touches net.

    Wow, f'ing awesome! :D

Would have been appropiate if the rival today were future CCL rivals Santos LAGUNA... as in lakes, and the pitch being full of 'em...

In one season, Montreal, Charleston and Puerto Rico have shown that of all the barriers that exist to a Promotion / Relegation system with MLS, quality of play on the field by USL teams is not one of them.

    It's all financial....

    Well done USL.

I just wanted to congratulate all the Islander faithful out there on the historical win over the always tough Alajuelense. That was an amazing comeback of epic proportions. Simply beautiful. LDA came to play and Puerto Rico matched and eventually surpassed LDA's play. i don't know what to say except it was an excellent way to represent USL, the Islanders, and Puerto Rican/American soccer. You proved something MLS side couldn't. May hat is off to the Islanders, the players, and the staff. The organization continues to impress. i am coming to the island next summer and I want to be sure to catch a game.
