Cannot know if BA watches American football. But if he watched tonight’s “pre-season” game v. NY Giants, he’d observed the results of arrogance, self-entitlement, lax play and 2nd half collapse on the part of the Pats. The Giants kept playing and, as the result, won. If BA doesn’t want to see similar disgusting results v. Toronto on Sat., thereby jeopardizing the Revs’ chances for MLS playoffs, BA may want to instill in the Revs’ players the fear of the Giants and the overarching fear of Patriots’ failure!
Um, does anyone take NFL pre-season results with anything more than a huge boulder of salt? Especially the earlier games, the whole point is to let the 2 different guys who are fighting to be third-stringers duke it out to see which one gets cut and which one might get a few reps on the kickoff return team.
Disgusting results? No one cares who won - it doesn't count. Did you even notice who was playing in the 4th quarter? You'll see them on the waiver list this evening.
On big football theres a post about if bill belicheck is bad at his job and someone said, I wish we were as good as Bob krafts OTHER team.... why can't we get players like that?
