This team has been figured out and 3G and the team haven’t adjusted. Take Zardes out of the equation, stay compact, disrupt the back early and counter when the situation presents. The most worrisome part is that the defense has now regressed. Steffen not playing has a lot to do with this this, but the back line is struggling. Abubakar had the worst match of the year, with both goals against attributable in part to his play. The wings have just not performed. And I agree that Santos has to be considered a bust. No one has filled the void left by Meram as a secondary goal producer.
Still time to right the ship but this schedule has now gotten much more difficult.

Well, I'm not that concerned about a road loss to a pretty good team, when our #1 goalie was out. This isn't college football where one loss and you are out. If he's out longer? That's a concern. I expect Abubakar to make mistakes too. He's still a fairly new (and young player). The next couple games, however, are important. It's easy to get in a rut.
