It sucks. Philly was coming off a mid week Cup final loss, we were at home, honoring champions. We’ll never be champions with this coach. Stop making excuses.
Also not a good look pulling off your 2 most expensive (attacking) players less than 3/4th of the way through the game when you need a goal. Plus, Abubakar sucks. Having to sub him off was killer and didn’t allow the best player on the bench, Mullins, to get into the match.
That was bad soccer all around. Not sure why we were so flat but we were. Abubakar channeled his inner Rzepa, Meram was terrible, Santos was Santos and Pipa was invisible. Credit to Philly for the improvement they have shown but this was abysmal. 24 shots between the two teams with two on goal. This game was such a Suttle.
