Surely it should have been at least a yellow card. Clear intentional handball and denying a possible goal scoring opportunity. I know very few refs would give red there to a goalie, though I think a red could have been a defensible decision. A non-call is not defensible.

Chicago WAS lucky to get a point. The only goal they scored was directly handed to them by us, and we got screwed AGAIN by a lack of VAR on a potential penalty. Not to mention the keeper handling the ball outside the area that should have been a dangerous free kick opportunity. They were lucky. Now -- that doesn't mean that we deserved any better. We were awful. Against a team that bad, with circumstances conspiring to have a nearly three-quarters-empty stadium, this is absolutely two points dropped. We never should have let luck come into play.
Bets stopped on the opening whistle. It was definitely over with a fine second half performance by our man. Such a strong DP.
The good news is we don't have another game for 8 days. The bad news is it's against a much better team than Chicago.
That game was a disaster from the start. As @chr1st avatar says, I'm with Hang. This one is on Berhalter. Lucky to walk out with a draw after that mess. I still can't fathom how you can be sitting on the Crew bench with players next to you and leave Santos on the field. That's the kind of stuff that "loses the locker room" for a coach. The difficult stretch of games now has us taking 1 point from the first 2. Not good. Long break and hopefully regroup with a home game against NYCXYZFCG#minor
