Angulo was very good in Spain and Portugal. Think he was owned by a 3rd party management group that screwed him over and kept sending him to who would pay the most. He went from a starter in Spain to Bulgaria or some shit. He has also been capped by Colombia not sure if by Pekerman. Think it was after the 2014 WC when we wanted to replace Armero

Borja well I won’t judge a player by how shit he played under one to the worst coaches in the history of time

When i said He sucks in Colombia...was directly refer in how bad he performes with santa fe . he was horrible and Gregorio Perez and Costas arent nearly to bad coaches

I like it too. The only downside is that Cuadrado and Muriel aren't good finishers. I'm not sure Pekerman wants James to play that role for that reason.

Cuadrado in a match will get a pk, and assist or a goal.. so i will let him...yeah as @crzdcolombian said

izquierdo instead muriel would be nice....but muriel in shape is a plus

Finishing I say are at the same level

    Is Muriel faster?
Crossing, dribbling, beating your man, drawing a foul and endurance Izquerido

Think Izquerido would even track back more then Muriel. To me Izquerido is a more offensive Cuadrado. If not Izquerido then I’d like to see Mojica. I like the Arias/Cuadrado relationship on the right and think with time we can see that on the left with Fabra/Mojica
    Or Izquerido

Muriel just has more power and arguably maybe faster that’s it.

"muriel justy has more power and arguably maybe faster"im sure that you dont wacth muriel in clubs since 2011........

Muriel can create more goal options than all the players that you named and can associate with the midcamp........When i propose these players is because i want to have football......not just speed.......

Im sure that you never have wacthed muriel out the NT...because to say that he is poor in dribblling, draweing a foul....isnt wactching him.......i understand why you only complained of his lack of goal.........havent understood that he isnt a central forward

Muriel contribution with the team is related with association.....and now he is gpood with free kicks

Mojica and Fabra have to play in left back.....not so good to play with them in attack positions...

It would be interesting to see if Uribe puts "Matheus" on his jersey at the World Cup. If he plays as well (as I think he can) there will be many European fans and scouts asking who that German guy is on Colombia. :p

And he was a MVP in both.

The two cm spots need to be a fair competion. Sanchez passed the test tho the others did well as well. Abel was awful while Uribe was great

If he was so horrible why did Mexican clubs want him? (sincere question)
Does he have a good agent or something?

In santa fe he was very critizced and we all here were unhapppy with his performance in olympics.....people in santa fe celebrated that he was gone

i think that colombia have a good will nowadays there...and helped that he was in a big club and in u-23 NT......

maybe he didnt adapted to santa fe system...but his performance there was poor

Yuber Asprilla another mediocre player arrived to pumas one of the best teams of mexico..

there are good agents plus the goodwill....like urgiayans and argentinians arrive to all american leagues even to the big teams appearing from nowhere

I guess there's lots of reasons as you mention.
And going back to what you said about Santa Fe's system and tactics maybe there are some players in Colombia that just do better under Mexican club tactics and style. Not cause those tactics are "better" but just different ways of using their attributes.

Mateus is a beast, he definitely needs to start in the world cup. He's been consistent this past year in general.

With a good WC, I would love to see him star in Europe. He has no problem playing for arguably some of the best club teams Atl Nacional/America (Mex) and has really impressed in his last outings for the NT. He's 27 and technically still to peak of his career. Tansfermkt has him pegged at 3.5 Million Euros which is a bargain for this player.
