Have you been to the US? We have all those issues plus if you aren’t white and the cops stop you then you might get the shit kicked out of you or shot for no fking reason Also Nazis and the KKK are back Make America Great Again and America 1st(Germany 1st is what they said in the 40s) Colombia needs to host shit so people see it is a nice country and a great place to visit. The locals need to be a little less aggressive selling shit to foreigners but with time and experience that will change Your neighbor having a greener yard is not always true. I liked South America way better then Europe. Europe just stole all South America’s wealth and then decided with the US well even tho we make nothing we are rich any way.
no tired of people only seeing the bad in certain places and the awesome of everywhere else. Also US hosted 6 WCs ago. Mexico hosted 8 ago. There are 120+ countries that try qualify. Multiple Countries hosting should allow poorer countries to do it. I am just worried it will be US then England then Mexico then Germany then Brazil then Spain then China then Italy then Japan/Korea then France Repeat
a world cup isnt necesary....even brasil hosting was a mistake. that is a country with more resources Man i worked in an office of tourism ( exchange students) and i agree with you ...Colombia is awesome and i love my country. But actually we are receiving a lot of tourists in the last 3 years ( is like the country with biggest increasing)...we have been ranked in magazines as best place. so a world cup isnt a necessity i know that usa have issues and europe too...
Colombia has larger issues to address than hosting a World Cup. I'll be happy when there are no potholes on the main toll highway from Sahagun to Coveñas. Too many accidents happen when tourists speed because the land's flat. That's my rant of the day.
Again..... my street all the houses are 400-600k...... it is full of pot holes as well unless you live in a condo association you are at the mercy of cities to fix that shit You drive in the high way yo NYC and the highways are utter shit. You defiantly realize when you left Connecticut. Same when you jump on I-90 to Boston. Some of you seem to think not all countries have the same problems I remember when I spent a 3 weeks in Europe for my last two MBA classes. London and Paris seemed magical when you go to the places they show you or tell you to go but then after a few days it’s like no Paris isn’t a utopia where there are no assholes who litter for no reason. Someone just washes all the dirt, garbage and litter down the street where the poor people are haha
There are problems and there are problems... The US and Europe have first world problems like “potholes in a row of half million dollar homes” or “migrant worker did not properly wash my dish”... true, the US actually has bigger issues like low wages, falling infrastructure, racism, poor schools, inequality, rising healthcare costs.... In Colombia kids still die from hunger and politicians steal the money destined to pay for peace efforts, plus all the same issues faced by other countries... I would like Colombia to at least fix the hunger and corruption issues before bidding for another bog event...
I like your comment bc I can attest to how terrible the roads are in NJ - both driving wise and cycling. NYC is pretty awful too.
Freeze/faw cycles are a bitch. Of course potholes are always unacceptable and something to complain about, but they're nearly always explainable. While some are a result of neglect, most (especially in the northeast of the US) are from weather patterns.
You don’t get snow? The salt that they put on the street kills the asphalt we just had a new driveway put in my house and they said not to put too much salt on it. When its going to snow cities just dump a ton of that shit on the ground even if it didn't snow. Like 2-3 weeks ago when we were suppose to get 20 inches of snow and got 0 haha
The potholes are usually a problem on side streets. On main streets, highways, and interstates they address potholes instantly. It helps there are less highways and interstates to maintain in this area.
