Tidewater/7 cities and especially Virginia Beach is growing and coming up. I still have a lot of family working around the shipyards in Norfolk.

I could always do that at any time; I just wanted a way to find work in Miami since my life is still here...but I can't have things go my way no matter how much I want them.

 

yeah, I could've told you Miami and for that matter most of FL is not a hot bed for job opportunities. That's why I live where I live. And while the standard of living is very high (properly taxes alone for my home are $16k+/year), you also get a very resilient working environment, great schools and opportunity to move up. Not sure what your qualifications are Froboy but you know when the writing is on the wall. I recommend you read "Who Moved my Cheese' classic motivational book ….about 99 pages….easy read with a ton of lessons

 

Well I am only here in Miami because I couldn't find work again in Atlanta. I've lived here for 22 years and I know the work issue. I am just hoping that something good will come for me.

 

Exactly. You have a hard time listening to advice. Go to your local library and read the book I recommended. It may change your life and how you go about it
