Code Orange..Code Orange!!! Lionesses Pride Hunt the Bald Eagle; WC Final USA - NL

  1. The Final had over 5.5 million Dutch watching!

Nevertheless, according to statistics, the Orange played the best-executed football, with 422 passes per game (the US 377) and an accuracy of 82.6 percent (US 81.3). The combination with Greens in the winning goal in the semi-final against Sweden was one of the best actions of the tournament. But the final did show that numbers donot say everything.

Sari thinking: "Shall I wack her with my Golden Glove?"

  4. Interesting to see how the chances were weighed by outsiders.

    5. They have a badass coach
Dutch coach Sarina Wiegman suffers no fools, nor intrepid journalists. When yours truly asked the manager if she was surprised to see her team in the semi-final after they had beaten Italy last weekend, she glared at me. “The word proud is more suitable than surprised,” she spat.

After an illustrious playing career that included over 100 national team caps, Wiegman began her coaching career in 2006. She joined the Dutch national team just under a decade later, first as an assistant and then at the helm – guiding Holland to their 2017 European Championships and now their debut World Cup final.

The steely Wiegman will not be phased by their match-up against heavyweights. Earlier in the tournament, she declared: “I don’t care who we play against.” Most coaches make similar utterances – but Wiegman’s tone suggested she meant it.

The Dutch mean business in France, and guided by their sagely manager they have every chance of upsetting the Americans on Sunday.

This fvcking cvnt Derksen who'se a misogynist women soccer abuser, made towards Sari van Veenendaal the disgusting denigrading remark that she had played well and deserved an extra portion of oat.
I think it's time women boycott sponsors of the Veronica show in which he continually makes denigrading remarks towards minorities and women.
It's like Veronica urges/stimulates him to spout his shit in order to create controversy to lure people to watch.
It's about time women take there weapon, the purse and use it to kill off this tv presence for ever by hitting the wallet of the sponsors.

^^Unfortunately his is also the view of a lot of male football supporters. I posted earlier about some really nasty remarks over on AjaxShowtime. If I were a moderator I would delete all those posts and sanction those that wrote them. I don't believe the site is moderated given some of what I've read in the past. No place for this type of sexism!

Wrong FSF!! We have "vrijheid van meningsuiting" in Holland (freedom of speech).

The last thing I wanna do is go down the UK's road where they will arrest you for having any opinion thats not politically correct. Censorship is NEVER the way to go.

I dont agree with Derksen when he degrades women's soccer, but he's entitled to his caveman's opinion. And if you dont like it then dont watch his show

  8. He can still do his fvcking shit, but not payed and on tv, freedom of speech through the wallet.
He can do his shit payed because of the sponsors. Women (and as should men) can express their discontent (= an opinion) by hitting the sponsors in their wallet. Let's see who's freedom of speech is rewarded by the sponsors.

This type of behavior has happened in the US and people have been fired. It's hate speech rather than free speech and the employer had the right to set boundaries. You don't have full free speech here on Big Soccer.

I'm not referring to Big Soccer, I'm referring to the Veronica TV show in Holland.

And I can guarantee you nobody is going to be boycotted. No matter how bad the Left wants to

Well O14, Veronica TV is not based in the US, they are based in Holland and we dont give in to weak-skinned people who cant handle controversial opinions. I dont agree with everything Derksen says either, but he's entitled to his opinion.

Also, Bill O'Reilly was fired for sexual harrassment, which is AFAIK against the law. So he was rightfully terminated: https://www.vox.com/a/sexual-harassment-assault-allegations-list/bill-o-reilly
